Omega Bound
My shawl slips from my shoulders as I ball it up, tossing it on the sofa.
“He won't come back home,” I snapped. “He's burying himself in work like a coward.” Magnus swirls his glass slowly.
“Not a coward, that boy, he is looking for something.”
My eyes narrow as my mind goes far away to all the things he can find that has my hand in it. “He's chasing something that isn't there.” Magnus lips twitch.
“Have you gotten the key,” Magnus says finally, not a question, a statement.
“I told you….”
