As far as Azrail was concerned, Lord Adonis was as fit as a fiddle and if he was by any chance sick which he doubted, Azrail knew Lord Adonis wouldn't resort to modern medicine because it would be useless to start with. All death agents could feel pains but their bodies was immune to modern medicine because they are soulless, so Azrail concluded that the medical supplies were not for Lord Adonis but was for someone who has a soul and a heartbeat, of course only humans fit into this category.
