I looked up into his eyes as he met mine and I froze as my breath caught. His eyes were back to their amazing blue. He helped me get my back as we washed up together. The shower was mostly silent as we were able to take each other in and explore our bodies. Alpha Brendon was fit- muscular. He had only one scar on his body and it was located on his back, near his chest. Wolves didn't have scars because of how we healed. But his made me believe the wound he recieved wasn't normal. I'll have to ask later about it.

Yet, I was so wrong. When I saw Jackal that day, I saw something in him that made me back out and depart the room. A ray of light, though not a dazzling one, united Scarlet and Jerk. He said dejectedly. “Is that a tear?” I asked myself. He made to wipe his tears and sniffled, “No, I mean this is magic, the scars on his back, look like what happened to the other lone wolf that was attacked with me” “There was no werewolf with you the day you were found,” “But there was,...” “Xavier suffered from many things here, even though what magic could be potent enough to end him,” Rune made a corner of the wall and muttered something inaudible.

They approach the northern border as a group of about fifty or so rouges walk through the tree line.
