Your mama is just very tired.” I hugged her close and buried my face in her curls, her sweet scent calming me for a moment. “And you know, sometimes grown-ups cry when they’re overwhelmed, but they feel better afterward. Turning on the screen, I try to get lost in my cartoons, but nothing works. "Mama," I won't cry. I can't cry. Men don't cry. "I love you, Jayson" the mama in the screen promises. "And I always will..."
