Manhunt Book Novels & Stories

Attention Hunter's Revenge is the sequel to the book 'The Mark'. It is highly recommended to read this after reading 'The Mark' for better understanding. Hunter's Revenge can be read as a stand-alone book, but I do not recommend it. I will not be providing insight to characters from 'The Mark'. So in order to properly enjoy the reading experience, I recommend not reading Hunter's Revenge without reading 'The Mark' first. I promise you won't regret reading it.

And with such a teaching coach it was twice as difficult. Actually, I had imagined the day to be very different and was already quite disappointed with what I had experienced. On the other hand, I had learned a few things. Not just about the idiot, no, also about cough syrup and that knowledge from books was not necessarily enough to successfully complete a hunt.

I shouted in vain, painfully aware of his lack of control. Dread grips me like a vice storming up the stairs after my brother, knowing all too well that nothing I say will stop him. Especially now that there's a chance for him to play one of his favorite, demented predator vs. prey games— ‘When I catch you, you’re mine.

This wasn't an accident or bad luck, this was attempted murder. The automatic doors at the entrance slid open and a tall man in an expensive tailored suit strode into the waiting area with urgency written across his face. He looked around the lobby before his eyes landed on us, and he walked over directly without hesitation. "I'm looking for Mitchelle Hunt," he announced. "Are you Danika? We spoke on the phone." I looked up at him through my tears and tried to respond, but my throat was too tight to form words. Luther stood up and extended his hand in greeting.

Maybe I could ask others to help in their own little ways, maybe I could seek his counsel if I hit a roads block. I sighed or maybe I'd figure it out somewhere along the line because right now… The first wave of misdirection was already underway. First mission has been launched and the first army released. The true hunt was only beginning. And I was the Hunter and they– my prey. I pray they are not safe and they fall prey to my trap. I squeezed my hands, clasped in my laps in silence. I might have made a plan, a clear plan and a wanted outcome but it doesn't reduce the palpation that comes from waiting too long.

“Do you want the culprit to know we’re onto them?” “If we move too soon, we lose her,” I said. “If we hide the documents completely and never hint, they’ll never risk exposing themselves. You don’t get killers by waiting for justice; you get them by making the risk bigger than their caution.” Henry chuckled, dark and a little tired. “You and I both know how far you’ll go.” “You’re with me or you’re not,” I said. He met my eyes and, for a fraction of a second, something else passed, approval, curiosity, a glint that said he liked the idea of the hunt.

He couldn't even stand. Just when it looked like the ragdoll was going to beat him to death, it suddenly stopped and grabbed my hand. Then it used my fingers to lift the knife he had dropped and plunged it straight into his heart. The familiar system chime echoed. [Player Franklin Hanson has been eliminated.] My balance shot up by several hundred coins. My eyes sparkled. "Bunny, you're amazing! You even let me have the kill." The chat exploded. [Weren't these two supposed to be weak monsters? I left for a minute, and now they're so strong!]

Archibald nodded as he processed every information. “That marked the start of the hunt. I don’t know who started it, though. My knowledge is limited to what you have witnessed. But if I am not mistaken, your pack leader knows about the hunt. That’s the reason why he did not react much about the violent incident as well as the discriminations Selene and her family felt throughout the years. She was destined to be chased out of her home.

My eyes met with the highly in demand book that everyone seemed to want as it laid on the ground near the vampire. I picked it up without any second as I struggled to maintain its raw power within my hands. I could feel all of the magic radiating off of it in bulks but I still held onto tight. His eyes met mine just as I took hold of the book before he attempted to pry it out of my hands. “Hand it over , Hunter…this is none of your concern,” I could hear the underlying threat within his words but I didn’t care. “No!
