Chapter 01 - Her fantasy world The devil bound the jungle from all sides. It seemed impossible to escape from there without coming into their sight. On a misty night, there was nothing but chippers of birds. Once behind a dense tree, a girl was struggling in pain. Her hands seemed to crack vigorously. The blood was flowing deep down to her knees, covering them. She couldn't even utter a word as if someone sliced her dried throat and took out her voice. Tears were flowing from her eyes like raindrops. There was no chance for her to survive further.

I'll be there in ten. I stared at the screen, my heart pounding in my chest. Ten minutes. I had ten minutes to prepare myself for a confrontation with a ghost from my past. I ran to the bathroom, splashing cold water on my face. I needed to calm down, to think rationally. But how could I be rational when my life had suddenly turned into a tangled mess of fated mates, wolf instincts, and absentee fathers?

This is our one chance to stop Freya before she slips away again, or worse. I move closer to the table, my eyes scanning the routes spread out across the surface. Ashton was talking to Samuel, yet his eyes were fixed on the map. He was so focused on the map that he did not realize Samuel and Abraham were looking at him sharply.
