On getting to the border two days ago, I stumbled on something. No, someone. He was so small,I would have easily mistaken him for a maimed or dead animal. Luckily for me, I took a closer look. Unluckily , he turned out to be the nine year old son of the Alpha who had been kidnapped a whole back. Unfortunately, the Alpha king was out for blood and had sworn to go on a killing spree until the perpetrator was brought to book.

When our eyes met, something stood out and for some reason, I instantly knew who it was. It was Kieran Blackwood! The Exiled Alpha.

Nicholas grunted. “Well, you don’t have to be concerned about that.” He peered at me. “So, it’s really true. It was you. My mate.” I could feel the wave of satisfaction building up. I had gotten away with it. “I, the Alpha King of Blood Moon Pack, accept you, Amanda Russell as my mate.” Nicholas gave me a slight courtly bow. “Do you accept me as your mate?” I was about to curtsy and say that I did, when there was a loud thud in the corner of the room. Then everyone’s attention turned away from me.

His voice was soft and gentle. “I am, thank you,” “I’m glad that you are,” taking a step forward he said, “I’m curious,” “About what?” I knitted my brows together in perplexity. “How can a human be mated to an Alpha? Well, not just an Alpha, he is the King Alpha,” I laughed, shaking my head, “You think I know the answer to that? I’m trying to figure it out myself. The only thing I’ve come up with until now is that…” he paid closer attention to me, “…I’m damned,” I let out an irritated scoff.
