Max Maximum Ride Novels & Stories

The illusion shatters when we reach the Thunderbolt. It's Luna Park's biggest roller coaster, a towering steel beast that loops and dives and sends riders screaming through the air at sixty miles per hour. Liam stops dead when he sees it, his small hand tightening in mine. "I want to ride that one," he says, but his voice has gone small and uncertain. "Buddy, that one's for bigger kids," Knoxx says gently. "Maybe in a few years—" "No, I want to ride it now!" Liam's voice rises, taking on the edge it gets when he's fighting tears. "I'm big enough! I'm brave enough!"

The screams of the riders were already a great way to know it was not for faint-hearted people like me. “Are you s-sure?” I asked Jeff for confirmation. I even stammered as nervousness crept within me. “Why not try that one first?” I tried suggesting a less extreme ride but Rue decided to jump in. “Nah. He said he wants that one. Jeff wants Thunderbolt, Jeff gets Thunderbolt,” Rue said, obviously teasing me. There was a stupid grin plastered on his face. This dumbass! I shot Rue a glare, but Jeff was set on riding Thunderbolt. Luckily, the ride had three seats per row, so I didn't have to sit in the back.

she asked as we arrived at the rides section of the park. “Probably,” I said. “Until I get my sea legs.” “I know the perfect one,” she said, tugging on my hand. I followed her to a monstrous ride that had close to fifty chairs attached to the mushroom-shaped ride by long chains. “What is that thing?” I asked, curling my lip.

Her pupils are like a small black ball tossing back and forth inside her eyes. Abby extends her cute index finger and pick the bouncing boulder. Parehas kaming nagulat ni Elijah dahil sa napili niya. The rides is not for people who are afraid of heights. Eto yung itataas ka sa pinaka mataas na parte ng rides at bigla kayong ibabagsak. It's not also for people who gets nervous easily, more so for sick people. " Sure po ako. Mukha po kase siyang exciting kasi hindi ko alam kung kelan ako ibababa…" I smiled and just nodded. My sister wants thrill then we will give to her.

"L-Lu-Lucas, what ride is it?" Lucas looked at him and smirked. That smirk was the confirmation that he is up to no good. "Discovery ride." That was the first time he ever heard such name. Miles never saw or heard such ride. "Discovery ride?" It told Lucas that this going to be even more exciting than he thought. He cleared his throat and said. "You're going to love it." Miles has the phobia of hight, Lucas knows exactly what this ride is going to do with Miles.

“I also want to ski down the Chugach Range in Alaska.” When Max spent too much time sniffing a flower, I gave him a gentle tug. “That sounds adventurous.” “Yeah. Helicopters are the only way to get up to some of the most extreme ski peaks,” he explained. “Once you copter up, you ski down this huge mountain, and if you wipe out you cartwheel. It’s like falling in space, except you reconnect with the snow every fifty feet or so. I also want to swim with sharks in Florida, without a cage, of course.”

Now that I’d seen Kent in wolf form, Max just looked like an oversized dog. “Let her ride you into the castle. I can no longer stand being in her presence.” Kent sneered. Max bowed down. For a second I thought he was just bowing to his master. Accepting Kent’s request. Max didn’t move. Not till Kent rolled his eyes again, came up to me, picked me up from behind, and placed me on top of Max. Max zoomed past Kent, giving me very little time to wrap my hands around his neck. All I was able to notice was, we went up the mountain path Kent had suggested.

“Now, don’t exaggerate.” “Oh!” Celeste squeals. “You should see the howling contest. It can get pretty funny.” “Or intimidating,” Nate adds as he and Ariah join us. “I swear, some of them sound like they’re capable of severing your soul from your body.” Nearby, shouts and laughter erupt in a chaotic chorus. I glance over my shoulder toward a cluster of amusement rides at the source of the noise. The closest ride, a massive canary-yellow looping starship, swings back and forth like a pendulum, its small golden lights flickering on and off in rhythm with the screams.

She informed. "No problem, I'd let you know. Thanks." Cas replied, eager to get back to the kiss. I yawned as I got the go ahead to unfasten the belt. "Munchkin is tired." He cooed. "Very." "These seats can fully recline into a bed of it's own or would you prefer a proper bed? There a zone that was converted into a small bedroom." " I'd take the chair bed thingy." I shrugged. " Nope, you'd take the bed, the flight is seven hours long."

But strangely, he took off the saddle and left only the bridle on Nebula's body. Which immediately raised a thousand questions in my head. It also confirmed my worries about the crazy things Max might do. "Get on," Max ordered. Oh so this is what Max wanted, bareback riding. The problem was, how was I going to ride a horse as big and tall as Nebula? I guessed he was probably 7 ft 2.5 in. Which is way far away from the normal height of a normal horse. There weren't even any stirrups to help my legs hold on. So what did Max expect? I jump up and yep just sit down? What a freak.
