Novel & Cerita Merit With Senior

“Of course not. I’m just saying we really don’t know what they like. Hey girl, stop thinking that you’re ugly. You are charming in your own way.” “Thanks.” I scowled at Val then turned away. The flag ceremony started. Afterward, the principal rattled about the Finals and the Graduation timelines. He threatened summer classes to senior students who will not be able to complete their requirements. Most of the senior students paled at this reminder, that they all rushed to their classrooms to study more.

My mentor spoke first: "Phoebe, you've really gone too far this time. Meredith is also my student. Kieran was thinking about the pack's future. Having multiple star healers makes the pack more stable - it's choosing the lesser of two evils. Besides, Meredith is a good kid. You're both my pride and joy - why fight like this? Over one research credit, you're gambling the entire pack! How can you be so impulsive!" Kieran finally spoke: "Mentor, I've already contacted the Golden Caduceus Award committee to add Phoebe's name, so she and Meredith can share the award."

said, “Merrick, don’t be so rude. There are so many seniors here, but they can’t do anything about it. Are you trying to say that you’re better than them? You’re too bold and arrogant!” Merrick bowed a little. “Dad, I wouldn’t dare. Even if you point a gun at my head, I won’t have the courage to say that I’m better than every senior here. But I read a medical book recently, and I’ve been kind of inspired. I have some understanding of the treatment of internal diseases. So, I want to give it a try.”

I can just leave if I want, but the Class Merit Contest is hindering my freedom. In short, The Merit Contest is a competition where the school secure the highest paying job opportunities, exchange programs, and special post-grad training to the overall best class. Since they're judging us on the basis of 'merit', everything could be taken into account. From academics and decipline to social harmony may get to be used against us. That's the reason students here are super careful about what they do and say. So, if someone like me, storms out in the middle of a lecture, the entire class can get disqualified. And I'd seriously be WANTED DEAD OR DEAD. Which would defy the purpose of taking my own

Nev asked in an excited voice and heard a grunt from her Granddad. “He is just jealous that you love me too much.” Nev said, waving him off and I coughed before turning towards Revu to see her tears rolling down but smiling too. “The prayer is going to start.” We heard Mom’s voice and everyone started walking towards her while I walked near to Nev. “I am such an amazing teacher. You need to thank me.” I mumbled placing my hand on her waist and pulled her to me. “I already did yesterday, right.” She mumbled back in a teasing voice.

"Don't act all wise and elderly, okay? I'm over 70, and you're not even 30 yet. He was really unfair, making a young punk like you my senior." Andrew laughed heartily. "You don't like it? It's fine. You can be my senior if you want to." Amari quickly refused with an awkward laugh. "Forget it. I'm not worthy of that position. I'm just complaining for the sake of it. The most capable should lead, and in terms of strength, I'm nowhere near your level. Having you as my senior means I've got strong backing. It makes my life easier." Andrew cut him off. "Enough with the chatter. What's your student's name? Since it's for you, I'll go meet her."

And so he never questioned her strangeness. Jana thought the one who made this new ranking system among students is plain stupid. Austin said the director was awarded with his ingenuity and tireless work to improve this. People who graduated from Augustus Middle High either becomes a philanthropist or a medical doctor. The school promotes that student should have morality engraved in their bones above wisdom. 'They can't even talk properly without looking from left to right.' Jana sighed. Students earned their ranks by merits. Merits are given once a student does something good. The staff can't be biased upon issuing points because every points listed are checked by every teachers with criti

Ava waited. "We would like to move you into the senior graduating class." The words hung in the air. Ava simply stared. She thought she had misunderstood, the director repeated himself. "You qualify for advanced placement." Ava couldn't speak. The senior graduating class? That meant students who were much further ahead. The instructor smiled warmly. "You already possess many of the skills we teach in the lower classes." Another instructor nodded. "Keeping you here would only slow your progress." Ava finally found her voice. "Are you serious?" The adults laughed.

"Not only are you cleared for trial participation, but you're being recommended for advanced leadership track consideration." "What does that mean?" "It means," Headmaster Thornfield explained, "that upon graduation, you'll be eligible for immediate consideration for senior pack positions, rather than the standard junior leadership roles typically assigned to new Academy graduates." "The Academy has been impressed by your academic performance, your leadership during recent crisis situations, and your overall contribution to the student community," the Regional Council representative added. "Additionally," Elder Morrison said, producing a formal document, "you've been selected as one of this
