"You're one of us, right?" We heard footsteps approaching the bathroom and she immediately released me. We were standing in front of the mirror when the door opened and a blonde guy walked in. He was Aaron. He stared at us strangely and said, ``I thought i heard something, Miss Wilson." I looked at Cathy who turned to the other side. "Nothing. Get out of here. This isn't the male's bathroom." I yelled and he walked out. I turned and saw Cathy seething in anger. Her eyes had turned light blue and I went into her thoughts. 'Hunters.'

"Because you stereotype us as destructive beings just as you believe we see all humans are nothing. You are a hypocrite because you have no evidence that me, nor that girl, has done anything wrong to you, or caused any harm to any human." "He's just trying to buy time!" the hunter to the left of him said. "Shoot him!" The group didn't need any word otherwise. They all decided to try and shoot at once. One bullet clipped his right side as he was attempting to dodge them all. But it was too late. They caught onto his plan, but they were too slow in their action. While they shot, the doors that the alleyway had swung open. Miki and Jin grabbed two of the hunters and snapped their necks quickly

Mr. Hogger shakes his minigun."This gun shoots 3,000 rounds per minute. That's more than all of you combined, with change even." Sophia watches them from the net hanged on the tree. Her eyes are beaming with hope and her face with curiosity to escape. An echo rings joyously inside her heart: 'The Hunter is here.'

No one has seen this man in twenty years. He had become a myth when I started hunting." Gavin pointed out, and Marco shook his head.

All of a sudden, Hunter stopped dead in his tracks, causing Micheal, who was walking behind to bump into him. Micheal rubbed his nose furiously. Thanks to God it did not break. Hunter's legs refused to move, that scent. He dared not hope, he dare not. Scent of apples that he knew belongs to just one person in this world. His mate His wolf went crazy in his head and began fighting to come out. Has he finally found his mate? He wanted to think, but his legs were moving again as he began to trace the scent.

I had only seen Mildred and Garren shift, so this was new. Hunter wasn’t nearly as big as Garren, but he was bigger than Mildred. His scales looked rougher, and he had spikes lining his back along his spine. His talons were longer than the others, and his wings looked like they were tipped with ice shards. “Hunter is the last of his kind,” Mildred said low enough for only me to hear. “He’s beautiful. He looks like he is covered in pieces of ice.” I said in awe. She let out a laugh.

Lana’s POV Something explodes in my chest the moment I look into his eyes. A fire erupts inside me, sending electric shocks through my body. His scent was different. He didn’t smell bad like other wolves, in fact it was quite the opposite. It was intoxicating, warm, rich and minty like the mint hot chocolate that Abby makes. He shifts from his black wolf, standing tall in front of me. Every part of him was defined, muscle after muscle. He even had those v lines by his hips. It was taking every bit of my self control to not look down.

Still, I had my reasons for keeping my new prisoner where she was. Hunter put the rabbit in the cage. We scanned the area, waiting for our next target. It took us a while before we spotted another prey—a small deer, moving cautiously through the underbrush. Hunter raised his rifle, sighting along the barrel, but the shot rang out wide, startling the animal. He missed. I threw my head back and laughed. That was all it took. “Do you fuck that weak too?” Hunter exploded. He tossed his gun aside, and in an instant, he was all claws, rippling muscles, and snapping teeth. We were rolling through the woods, fists flying, leaves and twigs crunching beneath us.
