Novel & Cerita Midnight Sun Animation

Scene 6: A New Howl As dawn broke, the first true sunrise in years, Liora climbed to the highest ridge and raised her head. The others joined her—wolves of every color and creed, howling together as the golden and silver light spread across the sky. High above, the Rebirth Moon glimmered softly, no longer cracked but whole. And if one listened closely, they could hear Iris’s voice in the wind: "Where there is light, there is shadow. Where there is love… There's eternity."

For now, she only needed to keep her pillowy soft stuffing inside together for a little while longer. Anya smoothed away nonexistent wrinkles in her tank top and jeans as she leaned against the thick pine post of the porch. Crickets sang their lullaby as dusk set in. Baguio’s midnight sun lit the sky…a beautiful thing to behold after such a long cold day. She barely believed the first nights of endless days as the sun never dipped beyond the horizon for three solid months until she experienced it for herself. Unable to sit idly by and wait, Anya ran her fingers through her hair, tying the lengths into a long plait around her shoulder, and then undoing the work only to rework her raven locks

Once I have most of the room in good condition, Valeria comes over and stops me from doing anything else. “It’s already late. We should sleep some before the sun rises. Come on. I can’t sleep and rest while you work yourself to death.” We don’t have any clocks, but I can tell by how the sky is, we have been up for most of the night. It’s probably in the early morning hours now and won’t be long until the sun rises. “Yes, the rest sounds nice.”

Joseph felt the wind knocked out of him as he heard the whistle followed by the loudest sound he's ever heard in all his 16 years under the Tau Ceti sun. A whiz and BOOM. Whiz and BOOM. Explosion after explosion came pummeling down onto them. An unending barrage of terrifying heat and sound and fireball crashed all around them. Joseph covered his face as clods of disturbed earth pelted and rained down on him. His screams were drowned out by the loud thunders. It went on forever. Until it didn't. Then it stopped. He heard nothing afterwards except the constant ringing in his ear.

The corner of his mouth curved one millimeter. It did not know this person. But it recognized the light in his palm. That light was the same color as the refracted ice crystals on the Northern ice plains. It had seen it on the ice plains. Every spring, when the snow and ice began to melt, the first ray of sunlight would strike the ice surface and refract pale gold light. It had always thought that was the sunrise. Now it knew. It was someone waiting. Waiting for three hundred years. No longer waiting.

We talked for hours then Sam drove us all to the shore where we watched our first sunrise, my life had changed from loneliness to to a life filled with love and happiness. Sunrise painted the sky, as the horizon ignited, we stood transfixed, our eyes witnessing the impossible for our kind. Centuries of darkness, shattered by Dr. Brooks's revolutionary serum, Solaris. Raven's hand held tight in mine, our gaze locked on the rising sun. Aurora's eyes filled with tears, her smile radiant. Brent and Lyra shared a soft glance, their faces bathed in golden light. Kie and Lucas watched with smiles. My voice deep and low voice resonated, "We've lived in shadows for centuries. Now, we behold the dawn.

The merfolk swiftly initiated their familiar routine of establishing camp, erecting shelters, and fortifying their surroundings. As darkness descended upon Aqualeara, enveloping the depths of the abysmal plain, the world plunged into perpetual obscurity. In this realm where natural light ceased to exist, the passage of time was marked by the ethereal glow of the waysticks. With the fading light, the waysticks transitioned from their vibrant orange hue to a soothing shade of green, casting an otherworldly radiance that served as a silent testament to the progression of the unseen sun.

“It’s what I do with YOU now, yes. Don’t get me wrong, chasing the sun is awesome and you were right about the exercise and getting out of the house, but what about just sitting back and enjoying what nature had to offer?” “Twizzlers?” She asked with amusement. “Nature’s greatest achievement,” I joked before taking a bite and Aurora laughed. We laid there on the cold hood of the car for a while until the sun began to rise, “Oh, the shows starting!” I exclaimed with excitement to have Aurora laugh again before taking another bite of her Twizzler and looking back at the sky. It was a comfortable silence as we watched the sun illuminate the sky slowly with an array of colors. “It’s funny, come

I was going to die. The only question was how. A sound outside made everyone freeze. Not a normal sound. Not wind or animals or anything natural. A humming. Low. Resonant. Like the air itself was vibrating. “What is that?” Falcon moved toward the window. The moonlight streaming through the broken glass flickered. Like a light bulb about to die. But the moon didn’t flicker, it should be constant and still. Except it wasn’t. The light dimmed. Brightened. Dimmed again.

Luna in the small room with the good morning light on the day she was born, rendered from memory with the particular quality of Anya’s eye for what mattered. Luna in the garden in the April light, small against the large spring world. Luna is on the desk reaching for Calla’s web drawing. Luna in the August garden reaching outward in the web, which Anya had somehow captured in the drawing as a quality of extension, the small figure with something reaching past the visible edges of the page. Luna at the solstice, held by Selene, surrounded by the gathered community. A drawing for each month. Twelve drawings for twelve months.
