Midwest Industries Alpha Ak Novels & Stories

He nods respectfully and takes his seat. Alpha Kael follows from the Northern Frost, younger than me but already scarred from constant rogue attacks. His territory is harsh frozen tundra that breeds hard people. He sits without greeting anyone. Alpha Mira enters, the same Mira from my council and also Alpha of the Western Plains. Her territory is smallest but strategically positioned. She acknowledges me with a slight nod. Alpha Rowan arrives last of the legitimate rulers from the Southern Marsh. Wealthy from trade routes and pragmatic by necessity. He can be reasoned with.

Ready to silence it. The name on the screen stops me cold. [Harrington — Ace Industries Representative.] I need to answer this call so I step away from the group. "Harrington." "Alpha Cole." His voice is warm, enthusiastic. "Wonderful news. Everything has been approved on our end. Once Mr. Ace returns from his trip and signs off—we're officially in business." Something loosens in my chest. "That's good to hear." "Very good. Exciting times ahead, Alpha Cole."

A ripple of tension passed through the room. Adrian didn’t answer immediately. He sat at the head of the table, legs crossed, posture lazy—but his eyes… his eyes were already glowing. Gold. Dangerous. “State your name,” Adrian said calmly. The man chuckled. “You already know it.” “I want to hear you say it before you embarrass yourself.” A few Alphas laughed under their breath. The Northern Alpha’s jaw ticked. “Ragnar Voss. Alpha King of the Northern Pack.” Samuel finally looked up,Cold,Measured.

I quickly read through it until I reached the line that hit my mind hard like sharp teeth: The Georgia State Shifter Alliance Office does hereby register the Pinecrest Valley pack as No Alpha Available. The N.A.A designation will be removed upon receipt of official documentation of pack hierarchy succession in the form of a notarized last will and testament.

Rider POV The night was quiet as I walked along the edge of the forest. The air was cold, and the ground felt firm beneath my boots. I was supposed to be in my office finishing reports, but when rogues were detected near our borders, I came out to patrol. As Alpha, I always led the search myself. My Beta spoke through the pack link, saying the trail had gone cold. No tracks. No body. No clear signs. That bothered me. Rogues rarely moved without reason. Something about tonight felt wrong, and the feeling sat heavy in my chest like a warning.

An Alpha like me mated to a human is quite deep, more like I'm reliving my ancestor's karma. I know Roosevelt is worried about what to do with Mason based on the landmines he brought. The reason I'm worried for him is that l don't know how it escaped my table that an internal conflict has been raised within the Packs. Firstly, l didn't expect to see Mason here although l knew we were meeting his Father. Secondly, I didn't expect to meet Alpha Richard of the Dark Moon Pack here. He is based in the North as well, reasons why he cursed Roosevelt for being careless and failing to protect the Landmines.

“If there are new players entering the fray, I want as much information as we can get.” The building would be ready in a few days, and despite what was just shared, it was vital that we went tonight. When we took Alexander, we didn’t want any interference. It couldn’t be left to chance that someone would come to his aid. The timetable would need to be moved up—no alex no prize, is the way I saw it. And once I had him I’d make it my mission to find out where he had stashed the missing girls. “I spoke to Shay last night, she says that the warehouse will be ready for us by the end of the week,” disclosing the conversation with Cian, “we can move up our plan and get this shit finished soon.”

“No pressure, then.” Corvin arched a brow. “You’re already under it. You just keep pretending you’re not.” Silence stretched between us, heavy with things I didn’t want named. “What happens,” I asked finally, “if the Alpha rejects the bond?” Corvin didn’t answer right away. He stared into his mug, jaw tightening. “Then the fire looks elsewhere,” he said. “And gods help anyone standing in its path.” My wolf snarled uneasily. I stood, heart pounding. “You’re saying she’s dangerous.”

It is time for me to head to the Alpha house and my nerves are making me sick. The joint Alpha house is a meeting hall and sanctuary for all alphas and shifters to go for meetings and shelter. There is one in every main territory in the US including: Northwest (Washington), Northeast (Maine), Southwest (California), Southeast (Florida), North-middle (Minnesota), Mid-US (Kansas), South-Middle (Texas). Every state also has a meeting place and many other ceremonial areas.
