LESLIE’S POV My reflexes work faster than they ever have. Fast enough to help me roll away, and bump into Beverly in the process. Mike relentlessly stalks towards me and that’s when I get a good look at his affected leg. I time his movement and before he can take another angry swing of his weapon, I kick his left leg with all my might. He falls to the ground with a loud groan of pain, rolling to his back. I limp to my feet, but his hand shoots out to grab my ankle.

Yet, he would easily boast his confidence and pride that only a truly successful person would have. He was still conceited, of course. A leopard could not change its spots. However, he became much more reserved. In other words, his previous flamboyance was akin to flaunting a legendary sword. It was razor-sharp and glimmered brightly. Now, that sword was well hidden in his sheath. That glimmer would no longer be seen by anyone. Perhaps the entire sheath itself was covered in dust. It wasn't even worth paying attention to. All that brilliance and sharpness were hidden away. It was like he became a whole new person. He was completely different from before.

The warrior cheered for their boss. Leo managed to dodge a swing from the leader and counterattacked with a thrust. He aimed for the leader’s chest, but the leader blocked it with his sword. The impact sent a shockwave through Leo’s arm, making him wince in pain. He quickly recovered, and swung his sword again, this time aiming for the leader’s neck. “You may be fast, but I am always one step ahead of you,” the leader remarked, ducked, and kicked Leo in the stomach. Leo staggered back, gasping for air. He saw the leader charge at him, his sword raised for a final strike.

It's difficult to stand in front of a crowd, carrying the weight of the nightmares I've endured. I despise the fact that he gave up his life for mine. I stood firmly on the grass, feeling the wind tousle my hair as I gracefully moved through the different stances. With each movement, I wielded the sword with precision and purpose. First, I positioned it to protect the front of my body; then, I held it high like a horn protruding from my head. Next, I swung the sword down to my hip, letting it hang casually in front of me. Finally, I brought it back up to my shoulder. Each stance seamlessly transitioned into either an attack or a defense.

The King of Swords then unsheathed and swung his blade forward in the next moment. “If you want to die, I shall send you to your merry way!” Before the sound of his speech finished echoing, Harvey took a step forward and swung his sword sideways. The swing was so quick that it created an afterimage. “There it is! The sword!” Tyson was exhilarated. He finally saw the Chief Instructor wield the sword again. Back then, this man’s single swing was able to cut down armor and helmets of the armies from all five strongest countries. This time, his swing was still shocking to the entire world.

My mind was reeling, how could it be fantasy if it was physically right here, I could touch Leo, and Mike just had my hand in his and that was real too. I stabbed my cantaloupe piece on my plate and placed it in my mouth the metal prongs scraping against my teeth, grounding me to the present conversation unraveling in front of me, Mike and Leo shared a knowing look just as mike thrust his large hand out with a set of keys to Leo "I need a few cases of produce and 4 kegs brought in from the cooler out back, think you can manage?"

Zelig immediately shone his sword to shield himself. “Cascading petals!” Lev yelled. This was the name of Lev’s move, and the sword’s shadows cascaded everywhere from the sky like flower petals, rendering Zelig unable to determine which one was the real sword. After a few seconds, Zelig’s shirt was already torn and ripped up with marks from the sword everywhere, and he seemed to be extremely battered and confused. At this moment, it was already known who had won and lost—it was obvious that Lev had won this round.

In all honesty, Chad was not sure if the fire folk's breathing technique could cure Michael, so he agreed to Imperious's proposal. "Then I'll leave it to you!" "No problem!" Imperious grinned as he pushed the door open and entered the room. "Kid, lend me that sword of yours!" Without hesitation, Chad summoned the Frost Peony and handed it to Imperious. Imperious nonchalantly kicked Michael awake. Michael, then beast-like, growled furiously upon seeing Imperious and struggled to stand but was securely restrained.
