The mural depicted carving, the beast trapped under chains. Alex moved towards Kira and Sara. “How’s it been for you so far?” he asked Sara. She pulled her jacket tight, played it cool. “Challenging,” she said. “But nothing I can’t handle.” Alex snorted. “I've got the short straw on this one, I've encountered the Minotaur. The mural doesn’t do it justice.”

~Lyra's POV~ “Hmmmmmmph Xavier... Fuck me already.” The words slipped from my lips in a breathless plea, my body still trembling from the intense climax. The bond between us burned hotter than ever, our wolves pressing close to the surface, their howls echoing in my mind as they urged full connection. The Flash grenade goes off as we entered the Boss Room, A Single Alpha Minotaur stands in the middle of the room carrying a large crude stone ax, with a towering height of 3 meters and a robust muscular body, certainly, the Alpha Minotaur stood at the league of its own despite being a Threat Level 3 Monster. Still due to the surprised attack, instead of the normal troupe where it's going to bellow in anger, instead the Alpha Minotaur was screaming in agony and confusion as to the sudden overwhelming flash from the Flash grenade temporarily turn it blind.

This time when I walk into Xavier arms he wraps his arms around me tightly. "You shouldn't have left. Even if you are to leave you should have at least taken someone with you. A guard. That's why they're there!" He scolds and I sob into his tux. "Sabastian is Minotaur's son. Half Vampire, half demon. He was his heir and you just killed him. Do you know what that means?" I slightly pull away from him Staring up at him. "No." I admit quietly. " Just like Alp and Maras' there's only a few Minotaurs left and you just made it less. Which means, Minotaur will want your head." My breath hitches.

I plead. “I Xander Stone…” he chest heaves with another cough as he pauses. “Hereby reject you Tika Heather as my mate…..”. The pain that hits my chest this time takes my breath away. I am unable to hold him of give him comfort as his body contorts and his back bows. Our screams fill the air and it feels like something inside me shreds to pieces. As my dragon howls in my head my senses are blinded as everything goes black.
