Miracle Book Novels & Stories

Looking around at the semi dusty room, Merlia was left in complete awe. Wonder could not be described by what she was feeling from knowing that this was not just any room, to her it felt precious. A long-forgotten placed caused by many events to take place. In truth, this room truly felt magical. Tucking the letter gently into her black cardigan pocket as to avoid damaging it, Merlia turned to her left to see the table containing books. Some books as Merlia guessed were to do with magic thanks to the old symbols that could be seen on the spines of the books, sadly some she could not understand what they said as they were old dated.

“The book belonged to the Potions Master, but there were entries not created by him in it.” Alpha Bronx pouts his lip and squints. “I thought only the Potions Master could create new entries? Even if it’s just theory.” “There is a recipe for an elixir in the book. They say a powerful deity created it to bring forth life using magic.” Mirabella sounds worried. “Do you understand what that could mean?” Alpha Bronx scribbles down a note. ‘Pay her whatever it takes’ “Sister Mirabella, we would like to compensate you for your time and cooperation today. The offer stands to provide security services as well.”

Aurora’s POV I wiped my hands after the entire process was done, and exited the bathroom, only to see Elder Miriam take out two books and hand them to me. “What;s this?” I asked, curious but at the same time afraid of the answer. “This one is on runes and spells, those enchantments that could either help or hinder you,” Elder Miriam pointed to the dark leather bound book. Then the smaller one. “This one is on herbs, study it. It will augment your expertise as a doctor, and trust me, you will need it. If you have any questions, I will answer them for you.”

Far down the pass, an explosion ripped through the snow, and the air filled with the scent of scorched flesh. From the smoke, more figures emerged — but these weren’t Bloodforged. They were guild fighters. Harlow was at the front, sabers gleaming. “Step away from him!” Varrow’s smirk didn’t falter. “Ah. The cavalry.” In the chaos that followed, Killian caught a flash of Daryl’s hand — slipping something small and dark into Varrow’s pocket before stepping back. A seed of magic. Timed magic. Killian realised it just as Varrow’s cloak flared, blocking his sight — and when it dropped again, both Varrow and Daryl were gone.

He laid the text on the table and sat in front of us. "This is the Book of Miracle Items. All you need to know about the Miracle Items are in this book," he said. "Now, we are going to explain to you what are the different Magical Items you need to get for Erica for her to go back to her world!" He opened the book on the table. He looked at the book's contents and then looked at us thoughtfully. "Listen carefully," he ordered us.

Haneul suspected this was happening to LJ, who tend to spend too much time with humans for his own good. "She's here. Just try to focus. You can do it." Haneul told LJ, surveying their surroundings again. They were at a tiny bar somewhere in the outskirts of Munich. If their surveillance were correct, their target would be arriving any minute there to celebrate her birthday. This particular creature is a Mirror, one of the very few born on earth wearing Lilith's biological form. Mirrors were more dangerous than the ordinary Lilim, so they had to bide their time and observe. But it had been about an hour, and there was no sign of the Lilim anywhere.

Ezra, choosing silence over words, listened intently, realizing she had no answers to the myriad of questions Scarlet presented. A sudden pause hung in the air, and Scarlet's gaze shifted from the plate to Ezra. "I am getting old," she confessed, her eyes distant. "I want you to come back and live with us. I don't want to hurt you, but you can't leave us like that." Scarlet's plea hung in the air, the vulnerability in her eyes revealing a loneliness that had settled in over the years.

He nodded slowly and before he could say anything more, the bedroom door swung open. Erick and Jess stood at the doorway; they were both breathless, so we knew they were running. Jess held one of the thickest books I had ever seen; it was a large brown book with golden decals swirled throughout the cover. In the front of the book, in a silvery oval was a white infinity symbol I didn’t quite recognize and then written in white above the symbol read: Book of Magic. “Woah…” I breathed, staring at the book. It was real.

Soraya's Pov Mira walked over to a bookshelf and pulled out an old leather book that looked like it might fall apart if you touched it wrong. She brought it back to the table and opened it carefully, the pages were yellow and covered in handwriting that was so faded I could barely read it. "This book contains everything I know about blood seals" Mira said. "I'm going to lend it to you so you can study it and understand what you're dealing with. But you must promise to return it when you're done. Books like this are rare and valuable."
