Nathan mutters in shock and tries to move back, but April held his hand tightly with the knife still in her stomach. “ No! It's... It's okay, I'm fine. ” She replies, still holding his hand, she looks him in the eyes. Little did he know that those blue eyes were the last ones he whips ever see. She touched his frightened face with her blood-stained hand with a kind look in her eyes and it shatters into pieces like glass, followed by the rest of his body. Stephanie who had watched the entire episode from a distance shook in shock. To her, it was Mira who killed him.

I hugged the blanket tighter. “He will come back,” Mira said firmly. “Lucar Vale does not fall easily. And when he does return… nothing will ever be the same again.” Her words echoed through me, heavy with promise and warning. I closed my eyes, holding onto the warmth, the scent of herbs, and the fragile hope she had given me. Somewhere out there, beyond the trees and shadows, the Alpha was fighting his way back. And I prayed I would still be standing when he did.

Scarlet couldn’t help but smile faintly...it was a small, fleeting moment of normalcy in a world that never gave her peace. “Congratulations, Scar,” Mira said with a smirk, grabbing a fork. “You unlocked another power, healed a dying Alpha, and didn’t get murdered. That’s a fucking achievement.”

Then they moved forward, carrying Mira and our newborn toward the mansion. “Will she be alright?” I mumbled as the head of the healers laid her back to her bed, checking on her pulse. The others were already carrying warm water to clean her body and stop the bleeding. “It’ll take her a long time to fully recover,” the healer then whispered lowly after taking some time to observe her condition. “Actually, what happened in the ritual site was a miracle for all of us.
