Five minutes later, Ellie, her suspicions being proved right about what Missy conjured her up to wear, makes her way down to the living room. Missy is sitting on the couch waiting for her sipping on a glass of wine. As she makes her way over to the couch she notices the living room seems to be in the grips of a deep chill.

'He's afraid of something,' she said. He wasn't afraid. He was calculating. Somehow that was worse. Missy found me an hour later. She appeared in the corridor—same warm smile, extended hand, entirely pleasant. "Welcome to Silver Crest, Anaiyah." I looked at her hand. Took it. Her grip was firm, brief, and rehearsed. 'Warning,' Lunara interjected. Missy released my hand and tilted her head. "I hope you'll be very happy here." She walked away.

Angelo Cruz POV I was catching my breath as I arrived at the karaoke bar near our school, I immediately went to the counter and asked, "Have you seen a girl here somewhere with brunette long hair, ah with fringe wearing a gray uniform, around this height? What else... ah, she seems shy and she has round deep brown eyes." The counter snaps his finger, "Ah the cute girl?" I blushed as I look away, "Ye-yeah...is she here?"

------ LITRE Bar, Downtown, 9:15 pm Under an exotic cocktail of warm and cold lightnings and alongside the alcohol enough to fill a pond, the bar premises had the presence of Collin at one of the bar stools at the counter. After a fascinating play of pouring alcohol by the hands of the bar tender, Collin received a glass with whiskey flowing like molten gold inside. He emptied the glass in one big gulp and placed the glass down towards the other end of the counter as a request to refill it. "You have not completely recovered yet," came the voice of Ursula, approaching from behind. "Get that glass refilled for me though."

He said. We continued to tease him and the VIP room was filled with laughter when Mitch told a story about Cara, while she was telling a story because she was also acting. “Okay, bye babes. Take care! ” I told Mitch and Zari as they got in their car to go home. It's already, 5pm so we decided to go home. I looked at Riah when he fake coughed. "Where are you going now?" He asked while trying to get the car key inside his pocket.

"Are you going to show us to our table or stare at us all night?" he asked her in a bored tone.

His hand went lower, cupping my ass and earning a soft gasp from me. “Let’s go to the restaurant,” I said, pulling away and hurrying out of the room, ignoring the pulse between my thighs. --- When Michael said he was taking me to the best restaurant here, I expected something extravagant. He had a knack for showing his wealth. I didn’t expect a cozy, small restaurant that was half empty, with a small woman who had kind eyes. “Mikey!” Her voice rang out. A genuine, soft smile appeared on his face as he bent down to hug her. She was so small compared to him that the hug looked awkward, but she had the brightest smile.

I assumed by Caleb saying mate that the door man was a wolf too. “Oh. I’m so happy for you Mr. Richards. Enjoy your evening.” Sal says as he opens the door to let us in. Caleb left go of his hold and allowed me to enter through the door first. The lighting of the restaurant was dim, and the wall sconces gave off the soft light that filled the room with candles on each table that flicked with the slightest breeze. Couples filled the tables and looked all engaged in conversations as they enjoyed their evening out. The smell of delicious food filled the air as we walked in closer to the dining room.

I'm ready for their surprise. It’s true that Ate Kara's bachelorette party was so much fun. We rented a popular bar in Makati for the whole night. We didn't leave the bar until we were wasted and dead drunk. “Angeli pretty much planned this, and I know you'll love it.” I nodded while following her out of my room.

It’s nice having a deal with you, Miss Sandoval.” Then, they shake hands and after that, Mari get her things and walked out of the restaurant and went to her car. She smiled, breathed heavily. “Alright, you have a lot of work to do by next week, Mari.” she said and sighed. She drove her car towards the church and she didn’t even notice that she was being followed by Yin. She parked the car and went inside the St. Claire Parish.
