​Addie stood before her FULL length mirror, smoothing the fabric of her dress. When she caught her own reflection, she couldn't help but let out a high pitched squeal. Today was the Red Moon ceremony. Today was the day she would finally find her mate. ​A light knock sounded at the door before it pushed open. Her mother, Sade, stepped into the room. She walked over and gently turned Addie around, taking a moment to look her up and down. ​"You look beautiful, Addie," Sade said softly. "You’re going to make a wonderful mate for someone."

“Newsflash, Missy, we’re already friends.” They left after fifteen minutes of Missy talking non-stop and then Jane had to physically drag her from the kitchen and out of the house. Missy drove a convertible in a deep blue colour with the top down. Jane smiled as they drove away from the house and past the town. “We’re going to the next town over, they’ve got more shops.” They sang along to the radio and finally pulled into a parking lot and parked her car. A Jeep parked next to them and a group of college aged men climbed out and smiled at them. Jane looked over at them and sighed internally.

He stared at me for so long I started to count in my head. “You are from the quarter district? Don’t tell anyone that at the party. We will need to make up a story. Also don’t tell anyone else that not here atleast.” He stood up as a plump woman entered the room. He smoothed his coat and a blush rose to his cheeks. “I’m sorry I interrupted.” The woman’s voice was soft. Her cantor told me she was from southern Rezzidel. “No you didn’t interrupt at all Cordelia.” Her name sounded like a purr coming from his mouth. She smiled at Miles. Then turned toward me.

The restaurant was a very short distance that we could have walked there but we drove. The small restaurant had a warm ambience to it, it was average sized but had a good number of customers. We spotted an empty table and sat down a waitress came over and handed us the menu. “I'll have a salad please.” Ashley said, Mr Brown arched an eyebrow at her in surprise. She gave a nervous laugh, “it's nerves uncle Brown.” He tried to keep it calm but he looked a bit bothered, “I told you, you have nothing to worry about in the case. And I hope it's just nerves and not some nonsense wave about being skinny, I've told you severally….”

Moon said casually. “You and Animikii are made for each other. Where is this fool we’re supposed to be meeting here? They’re late!” Misha slid off the stool and up to the bar. If she was going to be forced to wait here, at least she could have a drink while she was waiting. “Hey gorgeous, what are you drinking?” a guy standing next to her asked. Misha moved only her eyes to look at who addressed her. “You’re late, you should be buying me dinner.” She said, turning to him.

It was a fancy restaurant with beautiful scenery; thank God he didn't take me to a bar like one pervert that I know. We got into the restaurant, and everywhere was empty except for the staff that queued up at the entrance to welcome us immediately after we entered. One of the workers took us to our table; it was a bit funny, but I was honestly enjoying it. Damon took the chair and asked me to sit down. "What happened to all the customers?" I whispered to Damon. "We are the customers." "But there is no one here besides us; are we safe?" I queried him on "Relax, you are safe; I reserved the whole restaurant for the night," he proudly said.

[Annie, sorry to bug you again! I bought a box of cherries. Can I leave it with you for a bit?] [Annie, my mom sent some Milano cookies. They're super fragile. Can you set them aside for me? Thanks!] My phone wouldn't stop buzzing. Every message in the pickup station group chat was asking me to hold somebody's package. I logged the new deliveries while replying with quick "Got it" messages. Then Mrs. Warner from Unit 401 sent a voice message, sounding genuinely grateful.

I nodded with appreciation as she went back to our guests. I noticed Missy straightening herself, she had put on a dress after she got here. She was hot as hell in anything but right now she had on a cute little black dress that seemed to wrap around her curves so damn well. I licked my lips watching her ass as she walked toward our guests. “Hello, I’m Luna Missy. Would you care for a seat? We have camping chairs,” Missy offered. I didn’t like her being close to them. I needed to get them away from here and hunt, why not turn it into me sounding hospitable? That’s what an Alpha would do.

“So, what are you and your friends up to today?” Missy picked up the paper on the table and scanned the current headlines. “Oh, nothing much,” she replied in between bites. “Just heading to the mall for a couple of hours and then maybe we’ll come back for a swim.” Matt had an amazing condo that looked like something out of a magazine for “Home & Style”. He definitely had good taste and even as a bachelor, he kept the place in pristine condition. In fact, it was cleaner than Missy’s Mother’s house. Matt had a private pool that overlooked the white sand beach that stretched for miles, and he was always more than happy to let Missy host pool parties with all of her friends.

He inquired as they exited the office and proceeded to the saloon. It had been closed for a while because he couldn't find anyone to manage it. From the outside, the shop was enormous and stunning. Jess had hoped for something smaller, but this was fine. Miguel unlocked the door to the salon as the memories came rushing in like a whirlwind. The memories of his beloved petite Rosalinda moving up and down the salon attending to customers. Oh, how much he missed her and this place! The place looked beautiful, even though it was dusty. The interior decor was homely and welcoming. Jess had already fallen in love with the place as she saw a portrait of a beautiful woman with a captivating smile.
