It shattered, raining stone.
Loki roared and sprang back with supernatural speed, pinning his wolf against the wall.
Xander growled in agony, claws digging into the vampire’s shoulders.
And then Loki drove his fist into Xander’s side.
Once.
Twice.
A third time—hard enough to crack the stone behind him.
"Stay down," Loki hissed. "You’re a child playing god, and I’m done playing."
I moved again.
Faster.
Heart thundering.
He turned toward Xander, fangs bared, ready to finish him.
