They emerge from a hole in the ground, a dark and menacing opening that seems to be the very gate to the underworld. The Drider, an equally terrifying entity, accompanies them. Its appearance is a grotesque blend of spider and humanoid, with a body covered in dark hair and long, sharp legs that creak with every movement. The whole night Zara sat against the tree, trying not to notice the movements or the flashes of white swooshing around her. It was the first time in life that terror sealed her throat. She was one to love horror settings like these, but this was something she wasn't prepared for — A real horror experience. ~~~ Zara's third night was spent tied in the woods too. No matter how much she instigated Hunter he didn't put a bullet between her eyes. Or a knife in her heart.

Her eyes, as dark as the deepest night, bore into him, filling him with the worst sense of dread. They seemed to pierce him through his own eyes, as if she could see every thought in his head. The woman's hoarse, hostile voice matched her dark, cold aura perfectly. It was as if his body was frozen in place, paralyzed by fear. The woman's words repeated in his brain like a broken record, as he tried to process what had just happened and avoid panicking. He didn't understand why Rebekah didn't scream or react, just stood there motionless.

Those who don’t have immortality crave it and those who do have it, resent it. “Sophia! Get ready! You will be late!” A lady screamed, her voice reverberating through every wall in the house. “Arrrghhh! I can’t get any fucking reading done!” Sophia cussed under her breath. Sophia was an aspiring brunette writer in her late teens about to start college. She was a fit lady with shoulder-length hair, she had glasses on with an open book right in front of her. Her room was like the room of any teenager her age, except she had posters of famous gore movies and comics plastered across every corner on her walls, unlike the average teenagers that were all about boys.

[katalina] The movies we watched were all good. It’s three in the morning already. Hunter and I are still awake. Finishing streaming each video that fits into our liking. It felt weird that we didn’t feel tired or sleepy yet. Eventhough the previous movies we watched were genres of drama and love story. At first, I thought, Hunter would be watching horrors or action films. But much to my surprise, he wanted this evening ahead of us to be calm and memorable. Maybe, he had a feeling that if we watch horror movies, I can wake up the entire mansion, screaming at the top of my lungs.

And then— A child’s laughter echoed from inside. Small. Sweet. But ice-cold. Aarav’s blood turned to stone. “Who’s there?” he asked. No answer. Just that laughter again. And then— From the darkness behind the door, two faintly glowing eyes appeared. At the height of a child. But they weren’t human. Completely still. Completely cold. Like a painted image. Then— It stepped out. Aarav raised his flashlight. And what he saw became the greatest terror of his life.

We take seats in the back row, mainly to get as far away from the necking teenagers as possible, but I also just kinda like the back row. The movie is decent, certainly no Wes Craven or John Carpenter work of art, but then again hardly any modern horror movies are. As per usual, I find myself nitpicking everything the killer does wrong, but I manage to make myself only vocalize the bare minimum of these observations to Jason.

I apologize that this book is really short with less than 30k words in all. I plan to edit it at some point and make it better. I figured that a really long Horror book might be less interesting and would just seem drawn out. I've not read a lot of them but I watch horror movies so I wrote this like I would picture an Horror movie. I appreciate all those who stuck with me and read Reincarnation regardless. Thank you all.
