A man on foot had broken free of his hiding spot and was gunning it after us, running at an impossible speed. I didn't need to see the light sucking black surrounding his pupils, annihilating the whites of his eyes to know what he was. I could tell by the way his arms jerked as he bounded towards us, closing the gap between hunter and prey. I slipped my gun from the holster strapped to my thigh and let off three rounds the same instant the front tire ran a hole, jarring my shots and sending them wide. "Keep it steady!"

It stared at me, its eyes filled with a frenzied, starving madness. Fenris, we're dead, I thought, my blood running completely cold.Against a monster this massive, I stood absolutely no chance. With an earth-shattering roar, the beast lunged, and a foul, rotting stench blasted into my face. "Get back!" I screamed, instinctively snatching a jagged boulder from the dirt. I swung it with everything I had, smashing it directly into the beast's skull. Crack! The stone cracked hard against its heavy brow. Only a single drop of dark blood trickled down its snout. I had only enraged it.

Jay hissed. “There’s not a thing in this world that I actually care about.” Monster appeared indifferent. “Is that so? What about your daughter?” Jay sat up straight. His profound pupils were locked onto Monster’s eyes. Monster’s smile froze slightly. “I don’t have a daughter.” He suddenly roared like thunder. Jay curled his lips. “Why are you getting stirred up?” He crossed his legs again, calmly admiring Monster’s current ugly state. Monster realized that he had lost his temper and forced himself to calm down. However, he could not help but ask, “Is Lil Thirteen dead or alive?”

“You!You are a sadist pig asshole motherfucker that thinks he can touch any woman he wants and they won’t say a damn thing about it!” Madchen was furious, her face distorted with anger rising like a raging phoenix, kept in the dark too long, and she was reigning down hell fire upon her cowardly supervisor, unleashing all of her fury, past and present, on him…

I asked. “Yes, they do that as a way to show you that you need to feed. We don’t always feel hungry, so it’s a failsafe. If we don’t get blood on a regular basis then we get bloodthirsty and you don’t want to experience that. It’s a type of mania that can drive one to do unspeakable things. Or it could drive one mad. Trust me, doll. You need to feed, it’s already been too long.” Damien said.

She picked up her items, and even left without turning back. Zephyr shook his head. “Although this is a low-grade ring, it’s still a Loot ring, oh well!” Zephyr thought as he rubbed the ring. … “Die!” Somewhere within the deep jungles, Zephyr brandished Draken. He summoned bladed energy supported by draconic ones. The energy it carried had sparks of electricity surrounding it. His attack found its way towards a large monster. It was a large ape. Feeling the power from Zephyr’s attack, it let out a great cry. It parted its long arms, before it connected into a large clap, trying to defend against his attack. This was a tier-three beast — a Devil Monkey.

She rotated her shoulders, cracked her neck, then glanced back at the others who were watching her in tense silence. “Alright, bitches,” she said, voice louder than necessary, “line up and look pretty. We’re going to make this place regret waking the hell up.” Tora snorted. “You always have to make an entrance?” “I’m the Huntress,” Cheyenne replied, drawing her twin blades with a sharp metallic ring. “It’s kinda my thing.” Charlie fell into step beside her with a grin. “Lead the way.” Cheyenne lifted her nose slightly, sniffing the air. “This way. I smell rot, resentment, and bad parenting trauma. We’re close.”

Gunfire erupted again as the next wave entered the chamber. This time— They were ready. Arun moved with calculated precision. Lena danced through the chaos like a predator. And the Ghost— The Ghost became something else entirely. A phantom in the dark. Every shot perfect. Every movement flawless. Bodies fell one after another. The chamber turned into a battlefield. Smoke. Echoes. Blood. And in the center of it all— Three monsters working together. For now. Minutes passed like seconds. The last hunter collapsed. Silence returned once more.

His senses amplify, making his red eyes gleam in the dungeon's pitch blackness. With a speed even his kind would consider supernatural, the little hybrid fights for survival. The monster rats, sensing that the hunter has now become the prey, squeak and try to scurry away, but he's relentless. Driven by hunger and desperation, he kills and kills and kills until there's only one left in his grasp. "Let go!..." A voice suddenly booms out of nowhere as he sinks his fangs into it. Its echo reverberates all around him, making him shiver with fear.

In the monster's eyes, there were three targets. Kenneth and Thorgan stood together, thick-skinned and hard to crack. Cyrus stood alone, more than 30 feet away. The choice was obvious. It lunged for Cyrus, intent on killing one first. Cyrus raised the rifle and fired. The heavy report tore through the air. The round carried brutal force, amplified by his ability. The monster sensed danger and tried to dodge, but it was still slower than a sniper round enhanced by Cyrus's spatial power.
