Love stories

Love stories

So time went by, until one day I went to a meeting of friends, we all got together to go to a literature expo, this was very special, because we had a book club, in which we met every week to read a book, depending on the theme we were touching. So we were very interested in this expo, it was going to last three days and it was from eight in the morning to two in the afternoon, so we had breakfast and lunch, after lunch we went out and the last day started at twelve o'clock, we had lunch and dinner. To be continued.

I love to hate you

I love to hate you

Beneath were flawless downward-turned lips she knew Sean satisfyingly feasted on now and then. A grim stare in her direction had Gianna turning her face in embarrassment. He caught her staring. Should she call it a miracle that Sean hadn't looked her way all day or gotten two meters close to her? Was it due to the effect of the slap or simply a bite of guilt? Whatever it was, she hoped it lasted a while longer. "We have a book club going on, I believe you must have heard about it." Gianna began. "The book donation thingy?" "Yeah, we campaign for you to join us. If you're interested that is," she offered. "New ideas for improvements are welcome at any time." She added, for effect.

Day of Dread

Day of Dread

It was more for Kendra's sake, but Demitri would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy an excuse to spend more time with his friends. Every Friday after school, Kendra, Steve, and Kyle would join them for book club. They each took turns picking the book, but as usual Becca and Demitri were the only two that actually cared. While they had written summaries and detailed notes about the book, the others brought blank paper most the time so they could catch just enough facts to make it seem like they read it.

The Mate Agreement

The Mate Agreement

He shifts back; putting a seat between us and truly looking horrified. Bibah simply shakes her head at our childish shenanigans and takes a sip of her iced latte, metal straw clinking in the Hydro Flask. “The Awoo Book Club’s pick for this week is H.P Lovecraft.” She pats the voluminous book atop the pile and I notice it’s the library copy of H.P Lovecraft’s Omnibus 3. “I’m so excited to roast his ass.”

Alpha Kate

Alpha Kate

Kate POV “Katie let’s do an adult girls’ night,” Lily says. Pausing to wonder what exactly that means Lily continues, “You know – adult refreshments at an adult party location? Maybe in town at the Club?”. The “Club” is a hot spot for a lot of locals as well as people from neighboring towns. Mostly people in their 20’s and 30’s frequent the club, but it’s been known to attract a diverse group of people. They have great music, great dance floor, and cater their selection of alcohol to werewolves as well as to humans.

Love this book. Poor Kate went through so much during the course of this book. She went from being rejected, having to postpone being made Alpha, to being challenged and attacked multiple times. I'm so happy that she finally got her mate, Colby, who seems to be amazing.

I love the long chapter at the start. but out of curiosity, how old is the author? theres a lot of slipping between first and third person which you usually see in younger writing. maybe ESL. i am yet to finish chapters 1 - 7 it will be an interesting journey

Vanilla

Vanilla

Me trying to rein in my monster, eating enough but not too much while Mel eats with me and no one pays too much extra attention. So far it's been working, even though Mel fears he's starving me. The little faith they have in me, is terrible. "I was talking about you joining a club" She's smiling at me. And I'm remembering what Coco said something about her being brunette even though her hairs so blond I can't stop staring at it "The boys are already in it" I already knew that. Strawberry is in a book club, weirdly enough, Chocolate joined the Arts club with Cream, lucky them and Caramel is in the Culinary club. They're lucky, it's something they can do.

All Grown Up

All Grown Up

“You looked, I don’t know, peaceful.” “Honestly, this book is terrible,” Audrey said, holding up some thriller that I vaguely recognized. “I don’t know why the hell Annabelle has it on her shelf, but I fear for any of the recommendations she’s been giving out at the bookstore.” I suddenly realized where I recognized the book from. “Oh, that’s the one that all the book clubs were reading a while back,” I said. “She probably only got it because of that.” “Oh, that makes more sense,” Audrey said. There was an awkward silence. “So, are you going to sit down or what?”

MARRIED TO THE DEVIL BILLIONAIRE FOR REVENGE

MARRIED TO THE DEVIL BILLIONAIRE FOR REVENGE

The invitation arrives via email. It's from Lisette. The subject line says: "Book Club - You Should Come." And the message is typical Lisette. Direct. No preamble. Just: "I started a book club. First month we're reading your book. You should come read to us." I call her immediately. "You started a book club and didn't tell me?" I ask. "I'm telling you now. It's six women. We meet once a month. This month we're reading your book because it's important and it's brilliant and I want to talk about it with people who will actually understand why it matters."

Craving my mother's Hot Fiancé

Craving my mother's Hot Fiancé

I can’t. MidnightReader: Okay but can we talk about the ice??? Because I’m definitely trying that SpicyBooks4Life: “Pleasure that feels like death” - I FELT THAT I scrolled through the comments, giggling despite myself. These people had no idea they were reading my actual life. Then I saw a new comment thread forming. NightOwl_Reader: Okay guys, we need to talk. This community is getting HUGE. We need a name. RomanceAddict47: Yes! Like a secret club for readers who are obsessed with this story
