Moon Flowers Novels & Stories

Terrifying. We reached a small clearing, and I froze, my breath catching. There, nestled among the roots of an ancient oak, was a patch of Moonshade flowers—rare, delicate blooms that only unfurled under the light of a full moon. Their petals shimmered like liquid silver, glowing faintly in the dark, and I stepped closer, mesmerized. “Gods,” I whispered, crouching down. “I’ve never seen them in person.” Lucien paused beside me, his presence warm and solid. “They’re special,” he said softly. “Their scent changes with the moon’s phases—jasmine tonight, but by the waning gibbous, it’ll be something sharper, like clove.”

Avery asked about their trip to Raven's Peak, and Adeline and Adam both began to excitedly explain what they saw. "We saw the most beautiful night flowers, Aunt Avery!" Adam exclaimed. "They were called 'Luna Blossoms,' and they were this gorgeous shade of purple. And they smelled like honey!" Adeline chimed in, "Yes, and the Luna Blossoms are a type of flowering plant that only blooms at night. They have these delicate, star-shaped petals and..." Avery's eyes began to glaze over as Adeline and Adam continued to explain the details of the Luna Blossoms. She held up her hand, laughing.

“I have a feeling Mother Luna left it there to sew with the dress. The seamstress recognized the flowers right away, and she told me it was a rare kind that would only bloom when the Moon Goddess blesses the reunion of two wolf souls. She told me that these kinds of plants can only be found inside the garden of the Moon Wolf Spring. This plant is considered very precious, and many believe that the Moon Goddess herself planted it there.” “So you mean the flower will bloom on the day of the wedding if ever the Moon Goddess approves of Mom and Dad’s wedding?” Devon asked, looking so amused at the idea. “What if they don’t bloom, though? What’s that mean? What will happen?” Diana asked, which ma

“Oh my god, Isaac.” Overnight, the garden had been filled with Moonlit Roses. Unlike regular roses, Moonlit Roses glowed under the moonlight – hence, their name. Werewolves often used them to express love, and because they were so unique, these flowers were also fairly expensive. To my knowledge, they cost at least a thousand dollars per bloom. And now I was staring at an entire garden filled with them, a breathtaking sea of velvet petals swaying gently in the breeze.

Alethra laughed and said, well, I had to find away to hide what I was doing. There are four different types of flowers here, the first three are Lavender, Jasmine and Rosemary. Flowers blooming with the light of the sun. My eyes open wide. I have never seen something so beautiful! “These flowers are called ‘Night Phlox’ and ‘Moonflower'.” Thalia explains with a gentle smile. “Two different types of night flowers bloom here that cause the ground to light up. I figured you would like to see something like this.” Thalia and I sit for about an hour, absorbing the serene beauty and the tranquil ambiance of the glowing pasture. She tells me stories about the flowers, and we share laughter under the starlit sky. The magical scene feels almost surreal, like a dream I never want to end.

And then, there it is. The flower. It glows in the moonlight, crimson red like blood, its petals shimmering with an otherworldly light. It grows from a crevice in the rock, fragile and beautiful, the only living thing on this barren peak. "The RedMoon," Gracia breathes. I reach for it carefully, my fingers trembling. The petals are soft, warm despite the cold. I pluck it gently as many as I can, wrapping it in cloth and placing it in my pack.

I looked at her with my eye’s begging her to save me from this endless pit of choices for my crowning. “I don’t know.” I said with a sigh while turning to the designer. “What would you suggest? My mate is planning on my crowning for the blood moon in one month.” I finished watching as the wheels in his talented head turned. “Miss Black, I would suggest this emerald green. It matches your mates’ eyes and represents one of the main elements, earth, which are said to be strongest on the blood moon.” He pulled the most beautiful delicate looking fabric I had ever seen out of his bag.

Creeping towards the door she shifts and a second later a see a silvery gold wolf dashing across the snow, her body low as she ran.
