Eve’s POV The night looked as though it had been bleeding. From my window, I stared at the moon hanging low and swollen in the sky, the light from it had turned the forest into shades of crimson. This was what the wolves called the blood moon. I always wondered if it was only a legend but today I worry that it might just be an omen. “He’s near.”my wolf whispered in what sounded like she was afraid. “Who?” I whispered back, but she only growled.

It was mine. Tonight, nothing felt predictable. The moon had risen huge and white, not soft but stark—like a coin hammered flat and nailed to the sky. Its light made edges cruelly clear. The other part was the real basement which was below the ground. Dara’s room window opened to the garden which was at the back of the house. It was a big garden. Cold wind blew and the moon looked beautiful than anything. She put her ear phones on and played hers and Wade’s favorite song. Moon knew that Sun had an admiration for him and so did he for Sun. Even against his will, Moon forced himself to say what was on his mind. Moon said, “Go and be happy. Our fates are already decided. You give illumination in the day and my glow was cast at night. So, we can never be, Sun. Please, do not ever abandon your light for the sake of my darkness... but you will be forever in my heart. And always remember that I only belonged to you.”

In the center of the clearing was a beautiful flower, glowing in the moonlight. "What is it?" Andrea asked, amazed by the flower's beauty. "It's called the Moon Flower," Damon said. "Legend has it that if two people who love each other come here under the full moon, and both touch the flower at the same time, their love will be blessed by the Moon Goddess." Andrea looked at Damon, her heart beating faster with anticipation. "Do you believe in the legend?" she asked. Damon nodded, taking Andrea's hand in his. "I believe that our love is strong enough to withstand anything," he said. "And I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Andrea. Will you be mine?"
