My wolf and I both have started to look forward to our nightly sessions with Thea. I sent Travis and Adam out to follow the rogue we released, and they were due to report in today as well. I’m really hoping they have some updates, we’re less than a week away from the next full moon. I’d like it to be as uneventful as possible. Next month is the Supermoon, and ideally, I’d like the rogue issue settled by then. I want people to be able to travel and find their mates and enjoy the lunar lap without fear. Questions of how the Alpha can hold an event with what is ongoing have reached my ears. I pick up the glass cup on the table, raising it to toast, speaking in a dialect that only the Blood Moon pack understands, "I understand the current situation, the death of those witches won't be overlooked, but for the moment, I hope that we can all merry tonight and plot tomorrow." Arguments have become a tradition in these meetings. I take my seat beside Damon, who reaches for my hand. His touch sends warmth through me. “Did you miss me last night, Luna?,” he murmurs, his breath brushing my ear.
