bastard. Anyway, at some point I had enough and put my headphones back on my head. My playlist played at full volume. I listened to pretty much all kinds of music, even Japanese ones. I was just at Polaris from MUCC . The beautiful song was about a lost love. So it was pretty sad too. Even though I was listening to music at full volume, I fell asleep in no time.

He was sleeping on my bed. The rhythmic rise and fall of his chest made me squirm. It felt so normal…as if he belonged right where he was. With my heart thudding in my chest, I tiptoed to the bed, cautious not to make a sound or wake him up. But as soon as my knee dipped into the mattress, he moved, “Little Muse?” Heat coursed through my body at hearing that in his rough and sleepy voice. “Yeah, it's me,” I whispered into the dark, “you're a light sleeper.”

I reach for my phone and command the room's smart system to play a soothing sleeping melody. The room is gradually bathed in a soft, calming glow as the lights dim to a warm ambiance. I slip on a pair of earphones, the music's gentle notes filling my ears, attempting to drown out the noise in my mind. I lie back down, my eyes closing as I focus on the melody, trying to find that elusive peace. As the music weaves its way around me, I let go, letting my mind drift, my thoughts ebbing away like waves on a distant shore. Sleep slowly beckons, and despite the turmoil, exhaustion pulls me under, and I begin to succumb to its embrace.

She fell asleep, not long after and I was left with my thoughts. I settled down on the bed to rest my aching joints but not long after, I heard a buzzing sound and I lazily swatted at my ear. Pesky mosquitoes won't let one be, even with the air-conditioning on. I settled into a more comfortable position but just as I was dozing off, I heard someone groaning. I jerked awake with a start and I realised I had drifted off to sleep. Someone was shaking me but I couldn't see who because the room was swarthed in darkness. I switched on the bedside lamp and the soft glow illuminated the room, leaving certain parts in shadow.

My mood changed drastically and Sebastian noticed this. He asked what was wrong with me and I didn't know if it was a good idea to tell him what was happening to me. -It's hard to explain. -You didn't sleep very well, did you? -Is it that noticeable? -Why can't you sleep, is something bothering you? -No, it's just that I can't get to sleep. -But I can tell you're tired, tell me what's wrong. -It's hard to explain. -I know I shouldn't interfere but it's wrong that you don't sleep, you're affecting your health.

I screamed in fear, I woke up panting heavily as beads of sweat I look at the time and sighed I've not slept for close to thirty minutes and the nightmares came back I climbed down the bed and left my room, the whole place is now quiet and calm which means everyone is asleep, I entered Melissa's room and met her coiled up on her bed I joined her on the bed pulling her close to me I cover us with the duvet I need to see if Ursula is right, I closed my eyes and slept off

His eyes searched for mine with desperation, as if he were trying to reach me through the other side of a pane of glass. “No… no…” I kept repeating, not even sure what I was refusing. A nurse rushed in, followed by a doctor. My breathing was a frantic, uncontrolled gasp; the monitor began to beep louder. “She’s having an acute crisis,” the doctor said, firm but compassionate. “We need to help her body come down.” Dad held my hands, but I couldn’t stop trembling. “What does that mean?” he asked, voice breaking. “A mild sedative,” the doctor explained. “It’s not to erase anything—it’s to let her nervous system rest. She’s hypervigilant. Her body still believes she’s in danger.”

I just let sleep take over .

Danciana's Point Of View I woke up, the morning sunlight filtering through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. Blinking sleep from my eyes, I realized I was on Alpha Dante's bed. The soft sheets and the faint scent of his cologne surrounded me. As I sat up, my muscles protested the movement after what seemed like a deep slumber. Yawning and stretching, I took in my surroundings, a mix of curiosity and familiarity settling in.
