Feeling at a loss as to what to do with myself, I decided to explore the library. Wandering through the currently empty house on my way to the library, I begin to find myself feeling rather lonely. Flicking Kenzie a quick text to see what she is up to, I walk through the door and into the library. Perusing the shelves I see that the majority are classics such as Charles Dickens and Jane Austin. But tucked away in the corner I spy one of my favourite fantasy series. A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. Curling up in the lone red leather chair I open the first book and begin to read.

I fold my legs beneath me, and bring out my phone. A book can keep my awake so I surf the internet. Quickly I see a lot of fantasy books, but I’ve never really gravitated towards those. I don’t know what pushes me though. Maybe I’m just tired of being oblivious or my mother’s thesis, or the strange recurrences, I click on the first book I see and buy it. It takes only a second. I scroll past the forward and settle on the first chapter.

“Isn’t it the same with the knights? I wouldn’t mind being escorted by one if I happen to have a chance.” “Oh my, you all are a bunch of newbies. Don’t you know that the appeal of a mysterious mage is more than enough to be grateful for? Imagine a night full of excitement and magic.” Oh man, even in this world you really can’t get rid of human nature and habits, huh. I was not surprised that girls in this world are also fangirling over handsome-looking men. I mean, don’t we all? I started to chuckle, and then finally caught my attention, this familiar description of my favorite mage character in one of the books I used to read a lot. CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE: Friday night was consumed with nightmares and at 4am I decided to give up trying to sleep. I leaned over to my nightstand and pulled out a book and a reading light. Might as well take this time to get something useful done rather than scroll away on I*******m again. It had been a bit but I was finally reading to finish the last book in this fantasy romance series I loved. I hadn’t wanted the story to end so I had put off reading the last book. I loved the romance between the two main characters, a bad-guy fae who turned out to be the good guy all along, and a human girl who finds herself thrown into a world of magic. I just loved their relationship, and the whole concept

“All kinds of books. I’ve ready fantasy, romance and everything in between. I’ve read Harry Potter probably more times than I can count.” “Harry Potter?” I chuckle. “Don’t diss on Harry Potter or I’ll turn this horse around.” I chuckle at her threat. “Do you read?” “I do, probably not as much as you but I do. I tend to stick to fantasy stories like The Hobbit or the Game of Thrones series.”

“This one weaves mystery and magic, but underneath, it’s a story about trust and power.” Her face softened. “I’ll take it.” As I wrapped the book, another man stepped in, younger, sharp-eyed, dressed in a rumpled suit. His gaze swept the shelves with a hunger I recognized all too well. “Looking for something… thrilling,” he said, voice low. I leaned forward slightly. “Try The Silent Corner, it’s about secrets that change everything.” He nodded, brows furrowed, then murmured, “Secrets change everything.” The bell jingled again. A teenager, headphones around his neck, glanced nervously at the counter. “Uh, do you have any fantasy? Like with dragons?”

This' where the meeting would be held. The small library at the wall is stocked with a few interesting books to use and pass some time. I pick up a book that attracts my attention, from a glimpse of it, I detect that it's a romance fantasy. The gold and red combination of the cover with the stylish golden fonts captivates me, the front has a young girl holding on her palms what looks like a magical spindle, with a glowing light around it. The title goes, "When you're alone." A subscript writes, "A supermodel story of the girl who single handedly achieves the most difficult goals."
