Must Read Romance Novels & Stories

Sophia Celastio I love reading so much, it’s like going to a different world to me. We can imagine how the girl looks like and the boy looks like and how they build their relationship. I love it. It’s an addiction. I never read Romeo and Juliet because it has a sad ending, I hate sad endings. I love a story such as The Last Song, She’s the Man, Bridal Waves and the list goes one. Twisted story but with happy endings in the end.

Deciding to free myself from the lonely feeling, I took my earpiece and fixed it in my ear, and turned on the shuffle button on my playlist before I then opened an online reading app and then started reading. The Lyrics of Ocean eyes by Billie Eilish started playing in the background. As I was a fan of Romance I searched for a book with a romance genre and then I found one, it's titled A CRUSH. Though it's teen Romance I guess I'll be fine with Reading it. Funny how I love reading Romance but I am not a romantic person. It's crazy, right? I guess this is one of the reasons Rose and I got along well as we both love reading Romance.

That’s all I’m going to say…” Iori finished and spun around intending to leave only to feel his hand on her arm stopping her from leaving and turning her around to look at him. “No, wait!” He exclaimed and Iori flinched at his nearness.

I turn around and take a look at those. "They don't feel the same anymore", I tell him. He immediately frowns in confusion. "So, you got bored with ROMANCE?" "No. But there's a reason", I say, leaning against the shelf and placing my palm over the books. Then I slowly trace my hand over them. "And the reason is—" he leans back too, a foot of distance between us but we can clearly hear each other whispering. "People who read romance, mostly women—" I giggle. "They want to escape reality. So, they can find more beautiful things in fiction"

he asked. She stopped and looked back at him before taking a deep breath and nodding before she continued walking to her desk. "Sure, I am trying to get rid of you. I want to read this romance novel. If I can never experience the heart-racing kind of love, then I might as well read it in these books." She took up the book she had been reading when they came in and tapped the cover. "So you both go experience the love in real time while I will stay here and enjoy it from the pages." Marcus pulled Isla up and they both walked to the door. Isla turned to the woman who was now seated in her chair with her nose in the book already. "It was really lovely meeting you today."

There are books below to keep you company. Narcissus. I peered down beneath the table in pure curiosity and there I saw more books. The hopeless romantic books that I had to read. It ends with us and ugly love by Colleen Hoover stood out the most to me. I read reviews on it and it seemed good. It was actually on my next turn list but then I got engaged in the ace of spades that was a part of the collection that Narc had sent and annotated.

“What’s the matter? Are you feeling unwell? There are too many people here. I’ll take you home to rest.” I looked up and stopped laughing, saying calmly, “Sure.” He seemed to breathe a sigh of relief. Still smiling, I continued, “But I don’t want to go home. Tomorrow’s my birthday, and I want to go for a hot-air balloon ride. I want to watch the sunrise with you.”
