She called out and I stopped and turned to her. "The world," She spread her hands. "This world doesn't care about how you feel. It's high time you knew that. No matter how good you think you are and that you don't deserve shit, it will keep dishing it out to you mercilessly. You just have to keep your head down and go with the flow. If you don't have money, most people will continue treating you like trash and you will keep getting into trouble." She spoke and I felt my entire being lost in her words. I've been stupid the whole time, expecting everyone to understand me when in fact, I didn't understand the system of the world.
