It was dark and dingy. The smell of rotten bodies was heavy in the air. The sounds of dirty and running rats filled the dungeon. Laura was huddled in a corner, shivering due to the harsh cold. "What have I done?" She asked herself, shivering. Tears streamed down her eyes uncontrollably and at this point, she knew she wasn't going to come out of the problem she was into. She tried to think deeply about what had gone wrong in the kitchen but she couldn't pinpoint anything wrong.

In fact, it was as though he had more than one pair. He held me down on top of his desk and kicked my legs apart. “Let’s make a deal,” he said, and kept saying it. “Let’s make a deal. Let’s make a deal.” I struggled, but I couldn’t get away. “No!” I screamed when he entered me. “No! No!” Mr. Masterson just laughed. “Let’s make a deal. Let’s make a deal.” “Jacey.” I heard Caleb’s voice, but I couldn’t see him. I cried out desperately. “Caleb!”

My integrity is all I have. I whip my body to the right to get out of his grip, but I only make it one step before hands grab at me. Before the males start yelling at me to fight back. My feet leave the ground as I continue to struggle, as my arms and legs thrust and shove with all they’ve got. None of it matters.

It was quiet, almost sacred, with sunlight streaming through the large windows and rows of books inviting me to lose myself in their worlds. I wandered through the aisles aimlessly until I stumbled across a section on business biographies. My fingers hovered over the spines until I spotted one that looked familiar: Against All Odds: The Rise of Evan Bennett. I pulled the book from the shelf, my heart racing. I hadn't known a biography about him existed. The cover featured a candid photo of Evan, his piercing eyes staring directly at the camera.

Outside, loud music blasted—a tradition when our group of friends gathered. I screamed and shouted, but no one heard my cries. As he smeared sticky saliva over my face, all I could do was struggle to grab a lamp from the bedside desk, smashing it over his head. Then, I made a run for it, stumbling towards the window. Jeremy was like a monster, relentlessly chasing me after he recovered. I threw myself over the windowsill, and as I hit the ground, I clearly felt warm blood gushing out between my legs, as if a life was slipping away.

Digging into my wrists and ankles with cruel persistence. Panic exploded in my chest as I jerked against the bonds, the wooden chair beneath me creaking ominously with the sudden movement. The more I struggled, the more the ropes bit deeper, burning my skin, but I couldn’t stop. Instinct screamed at me to fight. A soft whimper broke from my throat. Where am I? What happened to me? I struggled harder, twisting my arms in a desperate bid for freedom, but whoever tied me had done a thorough job. My breathing grew ragged, every inhale shallow and sharp, as realization sank its teeth into me.

Chapter 3 At the hospital emergency room, Vonn was restless, he stood up, walk a little then sat down and stood up again and again. He starred at his hands, twisting and knotting them as if doing so would hold back the turmoil inside him. Despair roamed the room, expelled the breath of worries like him and those doing their best to bite down on the pain that brought them here. It’s an awkward thing on me being worried too much to a woman whom I never met and known.

The young man knows that he can't help the woman now either because until now his father still doesn't give the company in his name unless he can introduce a fiancé from a high family, but they know they have friends who have flesh its heart. "You know that I can only do so much right now, if I could help, I would not have agreed to your plan." Irritated answer it and opened the envelope. “A series? Who is the crazy director who will allow Danica to be the cast of the series she will do?”

He does that to himself. Blood vessels burst in my face from straining so hard and Jackson laughs. Moisture gathers in my palms and my fingers go numb. I'm going to drop. I clench the bar harder. I don't need to do more chin-ups than Darryl, I just need to outlast him.
