There were no gaudy feathers, no over-the-top embellishments. Just a single satin ribbon meant to be tied at the back. Simple, but striking in its elegance. Mysterious. Well God has the right to do that because I am lying and deceiving Dum and he is telling me I don't have the right to feel happiness because of what I am doing right now. Well I can't deny that part so I understand, anyway the woman who had caused the car to stop all of a sudden earlier was wearing a weird face mask that is used for masquerade parties but the mask was covering her face. I had a weird familiar feeling when I was near that woman. I can't describe it but I can feel like I know her but I don't? It's so confusing .

The vault had one more secret. Zara returned to it alone. The industrial lighting buzzed overhead, flickering every few seconds like it couldn’t handle the voltage of what hid in the dark. The air was colder here, thicker, as if the sins inside had sucked the oxygen out. She flipped through the files again, slower this time. Her fingers trembled over the photos—black-and-white surveillance shots from a private island off the coast of Greece. Men in masks. Models in chains. The branding.

There shouldn’t be anymore of their people, so why was it here? I carefully inspected the mask. The shape of the mask and the engraving all look identical to those of Astra organization’s people. Don’t tell me they’re related? When I pulled the mask away from my view, I saw the small tortoise standing not too far from me. “Thank you.” It said in a small voice, and smiled brightly, before disappearing into thin air. That sudden scene put me in a daze. Hill side back. Don’t tell me, that that small soul is actually the dragon’s soul?

"You look lost, like you could use a companion." I turned around to see who had just spoken — the voice didn’t sound familiar — and I saw the guy leaning against a pillar and looking back at me. He was wearing a black mask over his face, although his blue eyes were striking under the moonlight. I stood straight, my shoulders stiff. "And who might you be?" "Knowing who I am takes the fun away. What’s the purpose of the mask if you ask who I am? It is for anonymity, is it not?"
