Without his or Diana’s knowledge, monsters were born on the riverbed from a bubble, a pair of serpopards and another pair of griffins sat underneath the waters. Serpopards had long neck like a serpent’s with a head of a lion and each had a lioness body. Whereas the griffins, they had four limbs like an eagle, a body like a bird’s, an eagle head with ears like those of a horse and on their back, a pair of big wings. They were sitting still on the riverbed waiting to be summoned to rise from the River Nile waters and attack their enemies. As for now, they were gaining some more strength for the battle.
