Naiad Mythology Novels & Stories

Those purist nobles were going to have a fit, but I had an excellent argument to throw at them. Most of the multispecies matings were true mates, fated by Selene, the Moon Goddess and Helios. Also fated by Nyx since it now included vampires. Nyx was an interesting deity. Most tended to assume that she would most likely be evil because she was the Goddess of Night and Vampires, but that was far from the truth. She was an ancient deity that appeared at the dawn of creation. A beautiful winged Goddess.

I also wouldn’t want anyone else to get hurt because of me. "Oh, Nymphs, daughters of the ocean. Ethereal nereids of lush groves. Shining virgins bacchantes priestesses. Xothies of the woods amadryades daughters. The groves resound by their songs, and their choir disturbs the harmony of waters.” Despite that, I was still practicing that my ears were tuned into what was happening outside.

Jayden whispers in shock. My head is pounding and I feel dizzy. Tara is Keturah, the moon goddess. The woman who has been helping me all this while is the moon goddess? I always knew she was different, but it never occurred to me. “Keturah, blessed goddess, mother of our kind, it's an honour to have you in our midst”, Kreed says, going one knee. Everybody in the room does the same including, Jayden. I keep sitting, trying my best to see through the tears that have clouded my vision.

Drake asked. "Whoever wears that means she is the Legendary Goddess. There are plenty of necklaces that can identify the legendary goddess. The necklace has a mixture of symbols of two races. It just looks like the necklace that Sophie is wearing. The crescent moon symbolizes the race of vampires. The blue full moon symbolizes the race of wizards. It means that Sophie is half vampire and half wizard. " When the king said that, our eyes almost popped out. S-Sophie is one of the legendary goddesses?!

Naiad said, she was the king’s right-hand siren, “I think the princess want to go to land.” “I am not stupid Naiad, I know she is going to sneak out,” he sighed, “she asked about mates just recently, she is old enough to explore the world now, she will protect herself.” He had thought maybe letting her have what she wants now will open a door to knowing her better, “make sure she gets the pearl of communication and Ophelia is with her.” “My daughter going to land? Your majesty I do not think I would allow that,” Naiad said boldly.

Just like all of us. Tawny springs into action with Crimson, commanding what’s left of the werecat army to charge. “We don’t give up!” She screams! Watching the people I call friends, and the ones I love fight for their life pinches my heart. This should never have been. Electric blue sparks flickered across my knuckles. ‘Do it.’ Duke says. ‘Or Aodh will kill us all.’ Aodh. The god of the underworld. Or one of them. Him being the most powerful in mythology the one who promised Inanna as his bride. He had come for Lamia, or at least her wolf. But she was no longer on this plane of existence.

Tears burned in her eyes, and she struggled to hold them in. She was now wary of letting Shania hug her, but her father’s words had taken the fight out of her. Shania touched my dress delicately, envy blazing in her eyes. But before she could say anything, Mina ushered her out, leaving the rest of the family to follow. She glanced at Atticus briefly and he gave her a genuine smile. She smiled back and walked out onto the porch. Mina stopped her before she could take another step. “Wait! You can’t step onto the bare ground. The moon goddess’s place is in the heavens. It is a bad omen if you touch the ground.” She declared.

Lena said " you... you.... guys are bluffing. Is this just some sort of trick you guys want to play on me? If so then what gods are you? Adrian stated " I told you this date is just for the truth but if you dont believe me, I'll still tell you." He clears his throat and adjusts on his seat "I am Azarel but my earthly name is Adrian I am the demigod of Fire and chaos." Marcus speaks up "I am Neptune descendant. I am Enki the demigod of water". Athena said "I hate introductions but I'm Athena the goddess of wisdom and warfare I shouldn't even be here but I'm just looking for who would make my night pleasurable."

But that is just a rumor, and the truth of me is dusty lace and spiced cider, let’s die together then burst green in May, immortality, transformation, harrows.
