Being the greedy creature it was, the Hip Samurai Vampire set its sights on the fattest of the puffballs and screeched in delight as it dropped its altitude drastically towards its prey. Alarmed but unable to evacuate the danger zone quickly enough, the puffballs hopped into each other in a stampede of uncoordinated rolling fungi. Zen felt pity for these clumsy monsters but remained hidden. It wasn’t time to emerge yet. “Skree!” As the sunglasses samurai monster spread its jagged-edged veil to slow its descent and sink those sharp wings into the tender zombie flesh, Zen aimed his dagger at the exposed underside beneath the veil and threw it with every intent to kill it with one strike.
