Because in the end., it was all about saving lives.

She thought about asking any of the two but eventually changed her mind. Instead Of asking, Madison just makes her busy with the flowers in his arm and forget about asking them. She still doesn't want to communicate with other people. For her, all they can do for her is offer sympathy, look at her pitifully and try to fix her even though there’s nothing to fix. She doesn't want to feel pitiful. That’s why she refuses to talk with anyone. Remembering about the note she saw, it was a card with a picture of a butterfly that looks very familiar. Opening the note, Madison froze.

I stood up immediately and walked to the door to listen carefully to what the maids were talking about. "What are you saying? Cassandra is no more… Alpha Jacob must be angry. " Someone added. "He has ordered to kill Madison by stoning her to death. He will finish the funeral and then get back to her. She is going to suffer a lot. " My legs turned wobbly and weak. I couldn't hold myself without any support. I killed my sister. I knew she would have killed me too if my wolf hadn't intervened. But I wasn't like her. I should have controlled myself. Her life was worth more than my anger.

I complained. "If you don't shut up, I will glue your mouth shut with magic. I believe I have a spell for that somewhere in here," Natasha said and started to flip the pages in the book. "Okay, okay, sorry. I will shut up," I said. I didn't want to end up with my mouth glued shut. As Natasha continued with her ritual, I couldn't help but be intrigued by her actions. I had never met anyone practicing magic before, and watching it was mesmerizing.

He heard a familiar voice. “Hello, medium D, you look like a princess when you're worked out.” Natasha walked in, tucking her silver-like hair to the back, dressed in deem grey suit, swaying her hips from side to side, leaving little of her cleavage to the imagination, walking towards Damian with a seductive smile to piss him off as usual. On closing the distance between them, she bent a little and placed comforting pecks on both sides of Damian’s uninterested face. His jawlines ticked in excitement and disgust. But he kept his face even and unreadable.

She is wearing a thick black hoodie, jeans, and plain sneakers, but she looks like a queen. Nat has a gorgeous body. I could watch her walk all day. When she used to have soccer practice, she would get down to just a sports bra and shorts. It wasn't easy to stand up after watching her play sometimes. Her brain is still foggy with sleep, and as she tries to recall a memory from yesterday that maybe she decided to take someone back to her hotel after all, that she finally feel brave enough to have someone to warm her bed, to make her feel good after all the things Josh has done to her.

I know I might be overreacting, but something feels off. With Dane, I can sense it; he’s my mate, and I can tell when something isn’t right. Yet, I push the feeling down, turn off the lights, and close my eyes, hoping for morning to arrive so I can meet Natasha and start my training.
