Nerdy Wife Novels & Stories

As my eyes traced the third clause, my fingers tightened on the paper's edge. "In the event of infidelity by the Wife (Winona Grahm), all shares in Grahm Corporation held in her name shall be automatically transferred to the Husband (Jeffrey Yard)." I'd had enough, Winona. It was time to end this farce. … When I returned home with the documents, Winona was seated on the couch in the dimly lit living room. The moment she saw me, her eyes lit up, but her voice dripped with contempt. "Henry called me. He was very worked up and said you humiliated him. When did you become so petty, Jeff?"

I settled myself in his arms, which closed and caged me in. We talked and talked for hours. “If I turned into a worm, I don’t think you’d still like me.” I gave him my puppy eyes, sticking my lower lip out in a sulk. “Why would you turn into a worm Neria?! If people thought I was insane, they should just meet you, my wife.” He stared at me, too shocked to even laugh, “a worm?” The room filled with hard laughter, our banter, and crazy bickering all through the last bits of the night and early hours of the morning. Our bodies rocked back and forth. The last I recalled was me humming our song before everything went black.

Luke nudged and pressed further, his eyebrow furrowing. "She's just some girl my grandfather bought as a wife." I answered. "She’s driving me crazy. Crying all the time, trying to talk to me. It’s like she doesn’t get that she’s not part of my world. She’s not my real wife, she’s just…” I trailed off, unable to finish the sentence. "Wait, hold on! You have a wife?" He asked, his eyes almost pulling out of its socket in amazement. "When, how's that possible?"

I'm used to be neglected in this house though I'm his wife. I'm Tyra Louise Skyler-Grey, the wife of the known billionaire in town named Karl Matthew Grey. Our marriage wasn't like in the romantic movies where the girl and boy love each other and they decided to be with each other until the rest of their lives. My life isn't romantic at all. I often describe it as a tragedy. Matthew and I didn't know each other. I just know him when my father introduce me to him as his bride to be. Even I was to shock to know that I was getting married that time. I literally have no idea what's going on.

As they dragged Talia off, she twisted back and spat, "I put up with being your wife for seven years—that's more than you deserved. You think you're some prize? "You can't get anyone pregnant, and you've been useless in bed for years. No one wants you unless she's desperate. "So what if I went to Danny? When things go wrong, maybe look at yourself. A guy like you thinks I should've stayed loyal?" After we got married, we ran every test trying for a kid. Nothing happened. I told her to take it slow. I even got her pricey meds to help. She quit after a few days. So she thought I was the problem? That I couldn't perform?

Trying to get some work done at the office, Terry came beside me, “Your wife is terrifying.” I chuckled as I went over some files, “Yeah, well, I knew that before I even thought about marrying her.” “And you still married her.” “My wife of nearly fifty-nine years was the most terrifying woman any man ever laid eyes on.” Ethan chimed in, “But she was also the most beautiful. My Ellena was a Wiccan, a woman with a heart as big as the ocean but a temper that would make the devil tremble at her feet.”

The idiot thinks I’m a nerd who goes to book clubs with Vinnie. “Was it something I did, have I been a bad wife to you?” I asked him, wiping my fake tears with the back of my hand. To be honest, I thought he might have caught me sneaking out to have fun with my friends, I thought he had discovered my secret life that he knew nothing about. The idiot thinks I’m a nerd who goes to book clubs with Vinnie. If only he knows what I do with my spare time when he’s not around. If only he knows that I never put my life on hold because of this damn marriage.

Jerry smiled offering me his hand. "Nice to meet you too." I smiled shaking his hand. "Where are my manners? This lovely lady is my wife, Breanna." Jerry said introducing the lady with him. The two looked extremely rich. Too rich for my taste. Jerry had short silver hair mixed with black. His wife had lovely long brown curls. And by the looks of her chest, boob implants and she wasn't afraid to show them off. Her dress was extremely low cut showing her cleavage. "This is our daughter, Bree." Jerry said pointing to the girl beside him. The girl I knew all too well.

"I'm Nicole Riddle, the Chairperson of the Riddle Corporation. I'm also Jared Johnston's wife. Five years ago, we got registered in Panem, but there was no wedding ceremony. As for those two kids you mentioned..." Nicole paused for a moment before she continued speaking, sounding casual, "They're our kids." It was as if thunder had struck. Iris widened her eyes in disbelief. "What did you say?" "Th-That's impossible! You've to be lying! That's impossible!" Iris shook her head with all her might. She could not believe it. "The reason why I told you all this is for you to come to your senses. Your one-sided love is a huge joke. It also shows how pathetic you are."

Rowan shouted her name. Bryant burst into delighted laughter. “Then it's all settled.” Only Bryant understood why she did that. His face was looking somewhere else. Even nanny Harley was surprised when Richard didn't say anything. Charlene didn't care about them. He was her husband and it was her marriage, and it was none of their business. “That's for all the hell I went through because of you.” She said calmly.
