“If you need to get to the point of exhaustion before you can sleep soundly, that isn’t good long term.” She leans over and kisses me. “I’m okay. I promise. It’s getting better. Let’s not ruin the fun night.” I nod at her. “Okay, gang. It’s ice cream time. Someone pause the movie while I grab them.” The AI voice says, “movie paused.” I look up. “That will never not seem freaky.” Winona laughs. “I’ll get this hotdog mess cleaned up, can you make the popcorn too?” “Done deal.”

"Well, forgive me for being surprised. You rarely call. Is anything up?" "A lot of things. Well, a lot of things that shouldn't be explained over the phone" Kori rose a brow. "Paisley, for you, 'a lot of things ' doesn't mean much" "Hey! I'm not that boring" Paisley defended. "You turned down Disney land to stay home and binge watch 'The Big Bang Theory'. "Can everyone see the screen well?" After being sure everyone can see, he joins Jess on their palette and presses play. The lights dim, and the DreamWorks logo appears on the screen, making everyone become silent. Everyone enjoys the movie, laughing and singing along to the music. Some even get up and start dancing around. Even Zion seems to enjoy it. I was worried he wouldn't, with it being an animated movie. Briana remembers having the same conversation with David and she immediately bursts into tears.

I even look the part” Mia chirped, twirling in her dress. “No one's going anywhere,” I said. “We're all staying in to rewatch the Titanic.” The kids stared blankly at me. “But... but” Mia stammered. “Why should we watch the Titanic when we could be having fun on the Mad Teacup Ride?” “I don't wanna watch a movie about some ship hitting a stupid iceberg” Max added.

“It warms my heart that not only you managed to recognize the song from the movie, but you also started to memorize the characters’ names.” “Babe, that's normal when you play them all the time. I'm starting to think that you're a Disney Princess who wandered away from her Kingdom,” he teased me, causing me to stick my tongue out at him. “Bold of you to assume that I'm not a princess.” I smirked and he tried to stiffen his laugh. “Okay, it's really annoying, you know. Why didn't they make a Disney movie about us?” “Us?” He frowned.

They all looked at each other and then at Jake's dead serious face before silently giggling to themselves. About five minutes later, their play died down and they got real intense watching the Disney movie continue. After about two hour
