I’m not trying to make you fear it. I’m forcing you to embrace it.” He leaned closer, and I could smell the metallic scent of my blood on his lips. “Why?” I whispered softly. He smiled, and it was the kind of smile you’d expect from the devil. Confident, yet arrogant. Bewitching, yet threatening. Nico was every ounce of bad he had claimed to be but right now, I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Margaret and Sophia stared at themselves with a clear understanding, the sudden silence felt strange “Was that what you both were discussing? You two were talking about me?” “Yes, we are talking about how lazy you are,” Sophia replied. Nick frowned , he gulped a cup filled with wine down his throat and poured himself another, “I'm not a lazy ass and you know that. It doesn't sound nice..I'll take my leave then” he stated, standing up with his cup of wine as he headed for the door. Margaret could tell that Nick had come specifically for something yet he chose to play around. She signaled Sophia, informing her to play along with whatever she's about to put up.

The man informed to his boss right on the time. The man on the other side just let out a chuckle which didn't fail to give chills to the people beside him. It was scary, his laugh! It was more scary than a viper. No wonder they call him HADES!, The Devil. "Hmm, she's missing? Right when I'm finding her, Interesting! Very interesting!" his smirk widened as he leaned against his chair majestically after hanging up the phone. "Please, Spare me. I'm sorry I wouldn't try to spy on you again. However, he was not for her and had been playing with her to get what he wanted all along. It had been awful seeing him with someone she thought was her friend. It did not startle Janice when it happened, since she knew he would eventually leave like the others. She had prepared for the day he'd say the same things others had said. Though it hurts, she was glad she didn't give herself to him. Because that would have been the worst. The devil stood there still in the human form, wearing a tuxedo. He looked so handsome and charming that a genuine smile automatically appeared on my lips looking at him. He smiled back as he walked to me. “It’s been a long time, I have worn a suit.”He said, looking nervous while scratching his neck. “You look too handsome,” I said as I fixed the bow at his neck. “Ella,” The devil held my hand that was fixing his bow and then he kissed it with love. “If there is anything bothering you, please tell me.”His words seem like a plea that I don’t understand at all.

I challenged, trying to extract the truth from him. A chuckle escaped Gio as he lifted me off the floor and pressed me against the wall, his piercing gaze sending shivers down my spine. Clad in white, he embodied his nickname, the "Devil in White," with his menacing presence, though his words seemed to contradict his intimidating demeanor. Throughout, I believed he was unaware, but it turned out he was fully aware. Not only that, he also knew how to shatter my heart. "Nicole, you are not my type of woman and never will be."

This is the perfect opportunity to make Nico mine, and I'm not going to let it pass by. “Did you get all that?” Devina asked, turning to get a quick look at Pearl, who was still occupied. “Yes, but I'm not telling you where Nico is; he doesn't have to die for you to get back your company,” I replied. “Wait,” Devina chuckled, looking at me intensely. “Are you in love with Nico?” she asked bluntly. “What? No!” I denied instantaneously, “Don't be insane; I'm not rendering my niece fatherless for personal gain,” I stated firmly.

He greeted and Roberto nodded slowly. "I don't think Niko is doing anything in that clan!" He added and Roberto instantly withdrew the tobacco pipes. "What has he been doing! Stalking?" He asked, his voice rising. "Not that boss, he's pursuing a lady who happens to be Lucifer's property!" He replied. "Property, he made a lady his thing. How ridiculous!" He chuckled hard. "He doesn't do love so how is there a lady at his fingertips?" He asked himself. "Not known yet don!" Razor replied and he grinned.

After a few seconds of eye-to-eye battle, he still maintained his silence, leaving Don Basco with no choice but to break the deafening silence between them. “Am I right? What do you think? (Am I, right? What do you think?)” Don Basco questioned; his lips painted with the image of the devil's grin. Without Don Basco's knowledge, the real devil was the young man in front of him—a devil who is hiding in human flesh with an innocent face, waiting for the right moment to attack his enemy and make them feel what hell is like.

I finally came face to face with my mate and I opened my mouth in shock when I saw the person. Nick Carter is a devil. A cold hearted murder who wouldn't hesitate to kill anyone who got in his way.
