“There is no us. There will never be an—” My words were cut off as his lips crashed onto mine, his tongue demanding entrance into my mouth. Rage and disgust exploded inside me. I pushed against him, struggling, my fists pounding against his chest. “Get off me!” I hissed, twisting in his grip. Then I heard it. A slow, mocking chuckle that sent ice crawling down my spine. My eyes shot open, and past Adrian’s shoulder, toward the doorway. I locked gazes with Nicole. She stood there, arms crossed, her phone in hand, eyes alight with triumph. The kind that only came from uncovering something scandalous—like she had just found something she could use.

Which unfortunately never happened. Then I met her. Vivian. Vivian was a werewolf just like Nicole. She reminded me a lot about Nicole, so that got me attracted to her a little bit. I decided to use Vivian to clear Nicole out of my system, but sometimes I realized when I'm talking I always end up talking about Nicole. She had clouded my thoughts even though she wasn't with me. So basically, Vivian knows everything about Nicole well except the fact that Nicole was a werewolf.

She nods along in concentration. "We never did have an introduction, did we?". Her question is so abrupt that I'm thrown off for a minute. She flashes me a wide grin and extends a hand. "Anita. Anita Ferguson". Ah ha, yes that was her name. Anita. I extend a hand too and shake hers lightly, keeping my eyes discreetly on my face to scan for any giveaways if she recognizes me. "I'm Nicole". I say. "Nicole Webster". I make sure the handshake doesn't last longer than necessary.

Upon getting to her front, he leaned over her desk and whispered into her ear. “ Be prepared. I'm a devil and I will be willing to show you to hell.” He smirked darkly at her and walked over to his seat for the next class. Ellie, Prince Killian's girlfriend, glared daggers at Nicki who simply rolled her eyes. Just when Alpha Prince Killian wanted to take his seat, Nicki spoke up. “ Thank you for the invitation. I'm willing to go to hell with you. I bet it would be fun.” She said aloud for everyone to hear.

I'd bought it at a high price from a private collector. It stood there quietly, as if smiling at me. I raised my glass and gently clinked it against the display case. "Merry Christmas." My phone buzzed. It was a notification from the bank. I'd never touched the 1.8 million dollars Alison paid me from selling the house. Today, I donated all of it to a public welfare program called Girls, Inc. It funded girls who, like me once, were drained by their own families and oppressed by parents who favored sons over daughters. I hoped they could get an education, break free from their circumstances, and build lives of their own.

Eva stopped and frowned. She glanced at Nicole coldly. “What do you want?” “What do I want?” Nicole took a deep breath, looking very upset. “What exactly is going on? How did you do it? Those are clearly bastards you had with someone else, but you managed to use them to seduce Nathan. "You’re more cunning than I thought. I’ve underestimated you! How about giving me a lesson on how you did it?” She did not hold back as she said those terrible words.

CLAIRE’S POV: I was startled by the sound of such rudeness. As I glanced up, I saw Nicole and her entourage approaching. Her lips were painted a bold, striking red, and she regarded us with arrogant disdain. I froze, the wine glass halfway to my lips. Jennifer glanced up too. “Excuse me? Who are you calling a bitch?” she said sharply. Nicole’s designer dress clung to her skin, revealing every curve. Her entourage stood behind her like a pack of perfectly-groomed hyenas.

They exclaimed in admiration. Wondering how I saw her right?. Well, right now I'm behind a tree, if I said I did not want to see what Nicole looks like after 10 years, then I'll be lying to you. Nicole is a slim lady with pretty long legs, she had her nails fixed and she was wearing a short greenish off-shoulder gown with black heels. "Wow, so pretty," Tavia said. "Yeah, she is unlike us," I said. Some guards came out to take their luggage and went inside.

“He knows we’ve been working together for a long time. We’ll say we’ve been secretly in love for years and just kept it quiet. And when the details of the will came out, we decided there was no point hiding it anymore — so we made the decision to make it official.
