My meds, I have to take my meds.
Gasping as though someone had put my head into the trash bag and sealed it close, I scurried to my bedside table, frantically pulling the drawers in search of my bottles. My hands were shaking excessively as I got a grip on them. I didn’t have time to read the labels, but I am hoping they were the right ones. Good thing I always put a tumbler next to my bed, making it easier for me not to get up when I wake up in the middle of the night between nightmares.
