She rushed as fast as she could in the direction of Vennis’s room and her heart was pounding in her ears as she ran down the corridor. On opening the door to Vennis’s room, Naelis froze in horror. She was shocked to see Vennis struggling on the bed. Vennis was not just having a bad dream, her body was arching off the mattress, and her hands were clawing at the air. But the scariest part was her eyes…Vennis’s eyes were wide open, and they were alternating between a bright, natural green and a deep, pitch black. One second she looked like herself, and the next second her eyes looked like a void of darkness.
