I said with a small laugh. The remaining nighttime was spent in bedtime routines and warm baths, in stories and toothbrushes. He pulled the covers up to Pascal’s chin, then settled on the edge of the mattress, picking up the worn picture book from the nightstand—The Knight and the Lonely Dragon.

I nodded moving over to their bookshelf. "Not from there. Mommy already read them to us." Nicholai told me. "How about a story my mother used to tell me? It's a bit scary though." Big smiles made their way on their faces. "We love scary stories!" Ana told me excitedly as I took a seat on her bed, even though Nicholai was still tired he moved off his bed going to Ana's so he could be next to us. I picked him up and placed him beside her. "Thank you."

We got pyjamas out of the drawers, they had blue in them, I noticed that everything had some blue in it and I loved blue, it's a good colour. The room had some books and stories placed everywhere for us to find, I decided to pick one and go sit down in my bed, Nala decided to play with her phone, while Katie sat in bed, and she soon went into deep sleep, sucking on her thumb, around ten pm, the light went off and came back on, the internet stopped or that's what Nala said, and at ten on the dot, the light went off along with the internet, it was time to sleep.

Moana One night, I was reading a bedtime story to Ella when I found myself nodding off in the chair by her bed. I didn’t wake up until a couple of hours later. She was fast asleep and I didn’t want to wake her, so I quietly got up and slipped back into my room to go back to sleep.
