She chastises and folds her arms. "Sure, you do. It's pretty cute." I smirk and she grumbles. At that moment Luuk comes waltzing into the study. "Sorry I'm late." He says eyeing Nikki. "You're good again buttercup?" He asks her. She grumbles. "Yeah, I'm good. No murderous feels now." He smiles relieved and slumps down in the chair next to her, rubbing his hands together. "So, what did I miss?" I shake my head and sigh. "Nikki just told she is stronger, has a better evolved taste palette and that she purrs like a kitten. Now tell mom what you saw happen in the lounge. I'll fill in when you're done."

I sip, then casually, though graciously, dismiss Simon. Once alone, Nikki takes her flute into my suite. With her other hand, she selects a non-descript black box from the gift bag that has no logo stamped on it to identify where it’s come from. The sex club. She passes it to me, takes a deeper drink, then sets aside the glass to start stripping down. I settle into a chair alongside the fireplace, but her purpose is to make a production of her tease-show. And I’m enrapt. When she’s down to her red-satin-and-black-lace bra, a matching thong and high heels only, it’s not just fiery adrenaline pumping through me. My blood turns to magma. My nerve endings snap like livewires.

Or at least… try differently. I headed to the kitchen earlier than usual and started on breakfast. Nothing fancy, just something …… fun. Something a child, well Nico would like. When I heard Nico’s footsteps echoing down the stairs, I straightened my posture, gently flexing my injured hand behind my back so he wouldn’t see.

He shrugged, making me swallow hard. “Don’t interfere, you too.” Noah grunted, before turning to me “Why did you decide to come all the way here, anyway?” “Well… I found this cookbook that talked about the best foods to strengthen your immune system, so… It’s kind of like tea. Only in food form.” I tried to convince him “Besides, since I was coming all the way here, I thought it would be good to check… I mean, not that I think you don’t have enough strength to not feel bad during a workout, but…”

"You know that too? I'm impressed." Nikki beamed but remained humble. "It's just a hobby of mine. I dabble in flower arranging and cooking, so I've picked up a few things." Mia couldn't resist interjecting, "She got it wrong."

“I’ll go shopping this afternoon after I get enough sleep. I’ll treat myself and buy some wet tissues and snacks later.” Niki planned out while giggling when imagining what she would do – window shopping and finding great food – before clapping her hands in glee. The food arrived after a while then greeted and paid the delivery boy without forgetting to grab the brown paper bag as well as the beverage from his other hand. Burping loudly when she got full and emptied out her coffee, instead of being energetic, she got sleepy and cleaned the table she used, leaving no grain behind nor trace of scent for flies to roam around.
