So far, not one person is taking a full interest, though. Akin sits at the head of the table like always. He takes his place next to the alpha female, who has an almost regal posture. She is sitting next to her mate, the man from another clan, who sits to her right. Then there are the two men on either side of the table. The first is a young werewolf named Niles, who looks much more approachable than Nanny does. They are both from the other clan, but they have been chosen to be allies and elders. They are friendly, with kind smiles, but there is something in their eyes that speaks of hidden hostility. If you stare too long into their eyes, your thoughts wander away from the conversation.
