What a sly snake! "You keep teasing and bullying me to no end!" I exclaimed, glaring at him. However, Basil just stared back at me, stupefied. Then, he wailed and said, "I never did that!" I wasn't interested in his explanations. I just said, "Stay farther away from me. You're a bad snake!" Basil replied in a choked voice, "I'm not a bad snake. I'm a good snake. You said it yourself. You said that I was the most well-behaved snake in the world!"

But she stomped on the hand of the orange hair nymph. The female on the opposite side roared out, "you bitch!" Wanting to make Nita feel her wrath, she used her hidden power to make her see things that weren't there. Nita screamed, as she was now standing in a pit of snakes, one of which was wrapped tightly around her left leg. As she stood there screaming, a snake slithered its way in her mouth and out of her nose. Nita choked, trying her best to not throw up and fight off the snakes as best as she could.

As everyone turned towards the snake again, its scales were standing on ends like a porcupine's quills, while two bones protruded strangely over its head like draconic horns. Rina was immediately curious. "Could it actually be a dragon?" Hana laughed, shaking her head. "Dragons don't exist. It looks like one, but look closely and wait for it to stick its tongue out!" Everyone nodded, as snakes stuck out their tongues to sense their surroundings… but this one was not doing that. Hana then asked the bar owner, "Can we have it?" "Sure! I'll get you a box!" The bar owner headed to the kitchen, got an empty box, and slid the snake into it before closing the box and handing it to Hana.

Joe shook fearfully as he looked at the snake’s green eyes and stuttered its name, “The Giant Black Mamba! It followed us here!”

The relentless pursuit was a battle between them, the tiger, and the venomous snake. Nina knew they could not keep this up. Once darkness fully set in, their chances of escape would be even slimmer. As they passed by a tree trunk, Nina used it as leverage, planting her foot firmly and springing up to snap off a branch. In one swift motion, she spun around and drove the branch into the snake's weak spot, right at the seven-inch mark. The snake dropped to the ground, lifeless.
