"You're not walking out of here alive today!" I tapped the floor with the toe of my shoe and glanced at him. "What? Ready for another?" He instinctively flinched back in fear. I gave a contemptuous smile and turned toward the main entrance. But I was forced to stop after only a few steps. A line of men in black suits had suddenly blocked the exit, sealing off the entire passage. Before the onlookers could process the situation, the wall of security guards parted neatly down the middle. A woman walked through the path they had made.

I feel empty from inside, I'm not hungry, I'm not thirsty and I'm not tired from walking all the way to nowhere. There was no other person in here, the silence was so loud that I can't even think of such a thing. As I noticed that I've been here for a long time and I still can find the end of this place. I step, as I started walking neither I know that I was running.

Questions swirled in her mind. Slowly, compelled by curiosity, Melissa retraced her steps toward the bed. She approached silently, mindful not to disturb the sleeper. As she drew closer, she caught a glimpse of a flawlessly chiseled profile—a face defined by dark features, thick eyelashes, and raven-black hair. "Jeremy Nobody...?" Melissa whispered, her voice betraying both surprise and disbelief. How on earth did she end up in his house?

"Yeah, but why 7p.m exactly?" "Well I like to go on walks in the evening." I still found it so weird but of course I was going to follow, maybe it'd make up for this boring and work-filled month. *** If I'd expected the walk to be a fun one, I was probably losing it. It was one of the most boring walks I'd ever been. Neither of us said a word and I don't think that's happening anytime soon. We just walked side by side, our fingers brushing each other once in a while which only did some strange things to my internals.

As a show of sincerity, I'd wait until I got back to resolve this face-to-face. Declan, kicked out and without a place to go, found himself utterly miserable. He had nowhere to return to, no money, and for the next five days, all he could do was wander through parks. On the rare occasion when things were better, he could find an empty bench under a streetlamp and get a few hours of sleep. Mike the sole human who is the first one to break the history underwater, is now walking randomly at the ocean ground searching for something as he walks along the way. With a swift turn, I sprint out of the private area and out of the bar. *~* The night is darker than usual, like the sky’s swallowing every bit of light it can find. I walk through the empty streets, my footsteps echoing on the pavement, each step heavier than the last. My heart is just as heavy as it’s carrying the weight of the world. I can hardly breathe. I try to focus on my steps or the sound of the city at night, but it’s useless.
