A CUPCAKE FOR MY WARRIOR-MATE

A CUPCAKE FOR MY WARRIOR-MATE

The town chiefs unanimously agreed that one of the warriors should be on hand, at both the entrances of Gratiana's cottage but Verag had to stay back on spy watch in the various towns. The second Verag heard this, he made a mid-sized dining table with chairs, two cots, and several sofas and had them placed in the clearing. Combined with all the work tables they used for the ingredients, it looked like a camp, especially considering the large cauldrons over each fire pit. For now, it was just two, but if this worked, they had plans to expand and implement as many fires and cauldrons as could fit into the large clearing. Fortunately, the clearing was large and airy so the smoke wouldn't choke

Bound To The Alpha Who Broke Me

Bound To The Alpha Who Broke Me

Before my surgery, I went into training where I had to work in hospital cafeterias also but that didn't last longer as well. Marla gestured helplessly at the chaos surrounding her. The movement was jerky and uncoordinated. "The injured warriors need special meals to heal faster. Dr. Chen gave me a list. But our head cook left yesterday to visit family in another pack and I am trying to prepare healing meals for twenty wolves plus regular dinner for the entire compound and I just.." Her voice cracked. She stopped talking and took a shaky breath that made her whole chest heave. Her hands were still trembling where they gripped the counter.

The Blood Moon Luna

I nodded in response. I tapped Frankie’s arms signaling him to let me go. I looked at the warriors who had fallen silent while I had read the placard and said, “Come on gentlemen, I am sure everyone must be famished.” When I opened the door, the pack house smelled amazing. Cookie had worked her magic. There was a thick, hearty broccoli and cheese soup, homemade chicken noodle with hand made egg noodles, and thick meaty sandwiches on fresh baked crusty bread. “Everyone, please help yourselves, if you need anything please let one of us know and we’ll do our best to get it for you.

The Enigmatic Warrior

he shrugged and took the water bottle from Yara. "Thank you," he said to her and drank it whole. "I so much despise this Gora," she announced while riding up the stairs with Zaviar and Yara flanking her. "The Pakistani boys are much better than them." "Just because you couldn't have colorful eyes and blonde hair doesn't mean you should be jealous of the one having." She locomoted her body to look at the face of none other than Abraham Chauhdry. He was standing two steps behind her. His electric green eyes were contracted into narrow slits due to bright sunlight. His blonde hair shimmered in the sunshine. Minahil was too busy glaring at him

7 Personalities of Alpha Keagan: His Wolfless Mate

“I don’t know how to cook.” “Go and buy something to eat.” “But there are a lot of ingredients here. It will be a waste not to use them.” Nessa listened to them and figured out what their trouble was. She entered the kitchen and volunteered to cook for them. “This is not for us, Luna.” One of the warriors with buzz-cut hair quickly explained. “We gathered the ten children in one room. One of the warriors who knows how to cook made something for them this morning, but that warrior is now following the Alpha, and no one knows how to cook.”

The Cursed Alpha's Substitute Luna

The Cursed Alpha's Substitute Luna

By the time I left, my chest felt tight. It didn’t stop there. Later, in the kitchens, I asked the head cook to prepare extra portions for the patrols—something hearty with the new herbs from the garden. “The warriors need their strength with the recent rogue sightings,” I said. The cook, usually friendly, wiped her hands on her apron and avoided my eyes. “Some of the elders’ families prefer we stick to the traditional menus, Luna. No need for… special changes.”

Auctioned Mates Revenge

Auctioned Mates Revenge

Werewolves in Trouble– Warhammer’s Luna A Whore Soon, I was doubled over in laughter imagining the news coverage. It made my eyes burn with tears. As promised, Armand sent a set of recipes and a wish for good luck. I left my room and went to the kitchen to get something to snack on and to start preparations since it was already so late in the day. Armand had done most of the work for me, setting out the pans and pots I would need along with a timer for the asparagus. I set the timer for the steaks while cutting the potatoes and found my hands were clumsier than I remember and a bit amused.

It’s not for everyone because of the dark parts of the story but I couldn’t stop reading it after getting over some parts that made my skin crawl & cringe. There were some incomplete sentences which were annoying. Thought it could be longer to make it more complete at the end.

Great story. There are some heavy chapters to get through so if rape, sex trafficking or abuse are triggers for you then skip this book!!! If they aren't triggers for you then I highly recommend this book. I agree with other comments that the incomplete sentences were annoying.

Soheila and her group knew that the four boys were extremely hungry that's why they planned to cook for them. Soheila grilled tons of barbecue for them, and after that, she cooked flavored chicken as it is their favorite. Sirene cooked rice and buttered steak since she craved for it. The Hellhound Beta's Pregnant Mate

The Hellhound Beta's Pregnant Mate

Most usually ended in them both naked and tangled in their bed sheets. One thing Thalia had found herself gravitating towards was the kitchen. It wasn't like omegas needed help with anything. They were an extraordinary unit that exuded maternal love and an endless stream of energy despite some of them being in their eighties. However, whenever the kitchen was free Thalia would pull on an apron and spend time making some of her old favourites. Needless to say, the slow roasted lamb and lemon potatoes went down a treat with the trainee warriors. "Should you be on your feet?"

MAY

MAY

Now, she had turned up empty-headed. After a minute or two of silence, a name popped into her head. She had heard a chef mention it in a live cooking show she'd watched a few days back. Thank you for saving me, she mentally kissed the chef she'd never met. "Native soup," her voice filled with inspiration. Deep inside, she hoped she'd gotten the name right. The lady turned, took cellophane out, and started listing the ingredients May needed to cook a native soup. "Stockfish, palm oil, fresh pepper, maggie.."

May represents a large number of women that are constantly abused in their homes but still manage to smile and live through it. I hope women in similar situations reading this book get some of the happiness that May gets.
The Dream Elixir
This book was beautifully written and I enjoyed it so very much. It made me feel so many things and I was on the edge of my seat for most of the while because I really wanted the best for May. I felt so much anger towards Edric, uncertainty towards Tega, and love for Edric. definitely insightful
