Nordic Mythology Novels & Stories

“You are but not cause you are hearing voices.’ "My voice is called Sif." Ingrid said. "Mine is Joro." Olivia smiled. "As in Norsk mythology?" They both nodded with smiles. "Odin's wife and Thor's wife. I'm a little concerned about mine." "What do you mean?" Ingrid asked, tilting her head to one side. "Well, in Norsk Mythology mine is the Goddess of death and ruler of Helheim." I muttered, not sure how to take this information. "Hela." Olivia smiled. "It is good to have you with us Hela, thank you for protecting our pup."

"Davina Lynne Lothbrok Birthdate: 9/21/2005 Weight: 7lbs 6ounces Time: 5:23pm" "This is mine Ragnar, why was it hidden?" "Turn it around Davi" So I turned it around for it to show what hospital I was born in, which wasn't the one here, also it had a name on it, one I had only ever seen in our history books when talking about a royal family, the first werewolf family there ever was. "Freyja Mani" Old Norse for The Lady, Goddess of beauty, love, sex, war, and fertility. Mani was the God of the Moon.

I'm longing for her touch, wondering how she smell and how she looks likes. My wolf growled at me, telling me to follow my instincts and don't listen to my Beta. "Shut up, Baron. You don't have to tell me." Going out in the human world is dangerous for us Alexander's. When our father was punished and dethroned in Arcadia, he settled here in mortal world but due to his anger and resentment, he became ruthless and killed millions of innocent people. Blood shed and injustice prevailed. He's like a plague that swept lives every year.

The roots stop here though, and I do not think I can go any further without ending this inter-realm travel and going back home. “Yes, yes, those myths started as a true story, but time changes things. Now I use technology to communicate with my friends. We are here, you must stay at this spot. I need to get Nidhogg. Do not walk around. You will be sent back, and Nid needs to talk to you.” The little squirrel scampers across the clearing, falling out of sight when he reaches the spring. The story said Nidhogg was a dragon which makes sense because his father Arcas shifts into a dragon. I did not feel Hel’s animal, so I am not sure what her animal form is. Maybe they are all dragons.

Mysteria, the magical world of supernatural’s, a realm with the tallest mountains, luscious forests, and precipitous waterfalls. From werewolves and witches to orcs, this enchanted land is the birthplace of imagination. The mystical beings were all made by many different Deities, including those of Selene, Cerridwen, Ogrun, and Valkrim. They fashioned new life forms in their own image to coexist in the realm of Mysteria.

That's why the black wolves are so strong, they are the children of god monsters according to Norse legend. He said that over the years the black wolves did fade out but it’s still common for wolves in Norway to have a lot of black in their fur. He seemed surprised by how rare it is for wolves here in North America to have even a tiny bit of black and their fur. How it’s treated a bit like a status thing because it proves your descendant of the original Alpha and his sons. He then went on to explain an old pack legend about how a black wolf, a son of Fenrir, will find a mate that holds not one but two blessings, blessings bestowed upon her by Sol and Mani and together they would rule over al

Without the cats of Nott, the night goddess, and the sun queen Sunna and night king Mani's esteemed mother, who she gave to Mani when he turned thirteen, the whole sky would be the milk of Audhumla, our sacred auroch who nursed forefather Ymir, whom Wotan, Loki, and Mymyr had slain to make all the Nine Worlds. Yolanda gently dozed, and I imagined all the Hakkonsdottirs and Ynglings - my mother's surname, supposedly sired by fertility and beer and rain god Ingvi with his wife Garda, regents of the Vanir, in the sacred Barri Woods, watching down on me during the stillborn, quiet night. The walls were thick, yet Rosy's snores carried even through dead men fingernails.

“But Kolya is just a bannik.” “Perhaps he seems so, appearances-wise, but his bloodline speaks otherwise.” Anya's head swum. Memories of the old tales of the gods told round the hearth-fire by Dmitri surfaced in her mind. She recalled the thunder god Perun, king of storms, and his rival jovial Veles, lord of cattle and the leafy green underworld. She thought of the golden spring god Jarilo and his lover Morena, goddess of winter, death, and witchcraft, eternal enemy of Chernobog.

I ask. "Well yeah they have the same meaning, the same nature and are both believed to be early fertility goddesses, but they are not totally the same. Freja is also associated with magic and war. She receives half of the fallen warriors, the other half goes to Odin". He is using his hands alot explaining. He continues. "Afrodite sticks to things concerning love and the feminine beauty. In Cyprus she was worshipped as the foam-born goddess, she had a connection to the sea there, but in Nordic mythology that job falls to Freja's father, Njord".

Galindra realized. 'You are filled with madness.' King Melario exclaimed, sitting on his stone-polished throne atop of a high dais. 'I cannot accept this child'. He turned his head away as Galindra looks straight at him. Her eyes got shade of purple. Those could easily daze the king, yet the sorcerer got no time for tricks. 'Everything I said is true Melario. One day the realm of Nordor will bleed from war and chaos, and this child shall bring peace and save us all from great destruction. He is the son of your late sister, Princess Linara, to Prince Menandro of Athrandur'. Galindra knelt and raised the child—a rare thing to do for powerful beings like sorcerers. ‘Here, I am, my king, humblin
