Nordic Mythology Novels & Stories

My cries echoed off the wooden beams, mixing with the crackle of the fire and the low, approving growls of my conquerors. Hours later, as the fire burned low and cast a soft, intimate glow, they held me nestled between their powerful bodies on the furs. Ragnar’s broad chest served as my pillow, Thorsten’s arm draped possessively over my waist, and Bjorn’s fingers traced lazy patterns along my spine. In these quieter moments, stories flowed freely. They spoke of legendary raids, the favor of the gods, and the loneliness of leadership in their harsh northern world. I shared tales of my Saxon home, the strength of the women who defended it, and the grief of losing my father in battle.

"It is with great joy that I call upon you all this evening. The Moon Goddess has worked in your favors this time." The girls, confused, begin whispering amongst themselves, wondering what the hell he means. Linda's eyes sparkles with questions as she moves closer to her father's side. Alpha Storm places an arm around her shoulder, then continues. "As you all know, I went to the North for a while a few weeks ago..." Everyone stops talking, holding their breaths. I wrap an edge of my gown over my wound, biting my bottom lip at the searing pain. "The new Northern Alpha is yet to find his mate. The Redwood Pack has never been lucky in producing a Luna for the North, but perhaps..." He looks dow

They now live among ancient residences, made of stones and rocks are called Erdlinge rubrus, all of them are from Feuer Nordic opalgem, and they descend from ancient dwarven blacksmiths and beings from Feuer opalgem mystic of the Rurubus kingdoms. It was like this, in that they are a race of the Norse pantheon of Nivadellir, being that it was one of the planets that came to their end, in which eons ago the great serpent of Ragnarok brought the end to the cosmos, towards several planets in its ancient adventure, between galactic exploration and galactic expansion.

I wouldn’t have been afraid if she hadn’t mentioned my pack. Looking at her I know she isn’t bluffing. So I nod my head. She releases me before crossing the small hallway. “What do you know about the legend of Fenrir?” she asks us still furious “He is the great wolf in Norse mythology. He is the son of Loki, the trickster god. It was prophesied that he and his siblings would participate in the destruction of the gods. As a result of that prophecy, Odin, turned on Fenrir and chained him to a rock. Fenrir was later able to escape and aligned himself with the forces of chaos thus brought about Ragnarok” one of the guards says.

Magnus' POV I drove up to the gates of the main pack area of the Western Nordic Pack. We have a number of pack houses across our pack lands, as the size of it is all of Norway and parts of Sweden, but this is where the Alpha family live and work from. I stopped at the gates and one of the guards approached my car, as soon as they saw it, he bared his neck and then waved for another guard to open the gate to let me through. I wound the window down as I approached.

In most cases, to protect the worshippers of Odin and the Norse Gods. My mother was told to take kill England’s King but instead killed Norway’s. She had mistaken one brother for another. The Princess of England had married the Nordic King's brother but instead of making peace with Norway. The brothers had a falling out and went to war. When my mother killed Norway’s King he was in a meeting with England’s and got the men confused. This mistake angered Odin because the English then massacred his worshippers in their sleep. In Odin’s anger he condemned her to marry a mortal man, the worst of all punishments, because in doing so she would also lose her immortality.

That is the only clue that they have to solve the cryptex. “Hildisvini?” Hestia mumbled. “Hildisvini is the pet boar of Frey in the Norse Mythology.” Albert simply explained. Hestia tried the words ‘Frey’, but the cryptex was a five letter word puzzle so it was not the answer. She also tried ‘norse’ but it was also wrong as the cryptex did not open. She remembered that the real spelling of the name ‘Frey’ was ‘Freyr’ in the Norse Mythology and she tried that as well but it also did not work. She thought of something else that could be connected to the names ‘Hildisvini’, ‘Frey’, ‘Freyr’, and ‘norse’. She thought of something else that is connected to those.

“But this is not a class on raven legends. Now, who knows what other animal Odin kept with him?” A few hands raised, and I was able to give the answer, “The wolves, Geri and Freki.” “Yes. Now,” Professor Anderson clapped her hands, “the stories of Geri and Freki link our kind to defenders of deity, along with the ravens. Others link them to the shapeshifter, Loki. Many of our Nordic brothers and sisters believe that the ancestor who gave them the ability to shift is, in fact, the god Loki through his son, Frenrir.”

Then I heard it the hissing chant off in the distance (what did it mean). Skoll is the name of the wolf Who follows the shining priest Into the desolate forest, And the other is Hati, Hrodvitnir's son, Who chases the bright bride of the sky. "They are the two wolves from norse mythology one who chases the sun and the other one who chases the moon, ragnarok starts after one eats the sun and the other eats the moon and the world serpent eats Thor and Fenrir will swallow Odin" Lagertha tells me

NORSE Note that not all gods and goddesses as well as locations of the norse will be present in the (unnamed book) of Born by Power. Odin The supreme deity of Norse mythology and the greatest among the Norse gods was once Odin, the Allfather of the Aesir. He was once the awe-inspiring ruler of Asgard, and most revered immortal, who used to be on an unrelenting quest for information with his two ravens, two wolves and the Valkyries. He is the god of hostilities and, being delightfully paradoxical, the god of poetry and magic. He is famous for sacrificing one of his eyes in order to be in a position to see the cosmos extra sincerely and his thirst for wisdom noticed him hang from the World Tr
