I shrugged it off as I asked-" Did you find out about the book of Elis?" He nodded as he blinked a few times after which his eyes went normal. He said-" It is not that easy princess. She asked and the boy let out a little laugh, Elle quickly realized what she said and the embarrassment kicked in"I mean.. what was your question again?" The boy just chuckled again and repeated the question "do you need any help around the library?" "No, I'm quite used to this place but if I do, i won't hesitate to call you" she said and walked away embarrassed "Such a cutie" the boy muttered and walked away "Ugh!! Kill me now just kill me" Elle muttered to herself as she went in search of the books she wanted, she moved into the fantasy/paranormal section, she walked around for sometime before she came across a book that said "Aether world"

The process repeated until the creature made it towards the reception desk. "How may I help you?" Noel asked cheerfully. His eyes occasionally glanced at the long hands of the inhumanely being. That creature moved it's long arm and placed a piece of paper on the table. On the paper some words were written in scribbling. It said... LORE OF ELM Noel raised his eyebrows. "Do you mean, lore of elm from Ryzinka?" The creature slowly nodded. Noel pondered for a few while. "Sir, the book that you requested is a cursed one. Are you fine with that?"

“You’re going to love my house then.” “Oh yeah? Why?” I twisted toward him again, like I did when he told me the story about Gabriel’s parents and the creation of a single pack. It was so exciting to think that I was going to be a part of this amazing group of wolves. I wanted to know everything. “Elara is a collector of books. We have a sixteen-room house for only the two of us. Thirteen of those sixteen rooms are filled with books. The other three, have books but are not considered “filled”.” He took his hands off the wheel and did air quotes around the word filled.

I looked down at Flame her small face peaceful green light glowing softly. “She won’t have to. Elara’s with her. And we’re taking her home.” Flame cooed sleepy vines curling tighter around us. “Home.” We rode. North Toward whatever shadow waited beyond the Frostveil.

I nodded, not sure whether to believe him, and buried my face his chest. He stroked his hands up my back. “The book I seek is not here,” he told me. “It is back in Benal, oddly enough. We will spend today and tonight here, to ensure that the Dark Elves return to their home, and then Jiloria will take us to Benal to read the final book. Come,” he rolled to his feet and held out his hands. “Let us feed you. I have a book to read.” The kitchen was still busy with small folk. Rivyn shooed them off seats for us.

I wasn’t one hundred percent sure which direction was north-east anymore, but I just had to hope for the best. Aster stopped and sniffed the air, then let out a low, menacing, warning growl. Two elves stepped out from the bushes. They were holding their hands out in front of them, trying to be brave and show they were non-threatening, but I could sense their fear. Aster backed up and growled again, warning them not to come closer. “A-are you a sh-shifter?” one elf asked. Aster nodded his head, and they both looked at one another with raised eyebrows and a sense of excitement started to replace their fear.

She’d used the floating particles to make herself visible. Elsabet stared into the emptiness, averting her attention back to the book in her hands. The cover said, ‘The Book of Immortals’. Thick leather decorated with interweaving vines and roses. She recognized the depiction as the emblem found throughout the castle. Covering doors and tables, even the drawbridge. She drew a breath, realizing what she likely held. “Thank you.” Elsabet held it reverently as she made way back to her chair to read. It told of men who’d been born and raised in the Upper Lands, the world above Ardae, who’d found their way into Ardae to avoid a second persecution.

It was a total of three pages. “18th of November, Year 1534. Truly a fascinating matter, the earth-sky experimentation and a chance mistake made me discovered an elf! Not just any elf but an elf priestess who was lost and trapped into a boulder of darkness amid the storms. She is very lucky to have met me, the protagonist of this era!”

I looked at where Northfall actually was and shook my head. Northfall was an island in the gulf I had always thought was the ocean, in neutral territory. It was a relatively large island that housed a small elven community, apparently, based on the color coding. Had Eason ever met an elf? “Grace?” “I wondered once…why Eason always… Always seemed to get a tan.” He rubbed my shoulder. “Should I send it to you?” “I want a copy… to put up in place of the map I have.” My jaw trembled. “I want… I want every map in the territory to be accurate, not that States nonsense that—”
